I keep reading about cave shams and their farm potential. I'm curious as to what they offer besides aoe disease that any other aoe dot couldn't do. I'm guessing you just dot and disease run around etc. But I could do the same on a bd or mana ment etc. Obviously you can get some specs and endo reduction to go along with it but is it the disease that helps, ie. The mobs are slowed from the disease??

Buffs help cast speed for free, perma sprint for free, the Shaman aoe dot delves higher than BD, disease slows mobs so it’s a very efficient and fast farmer.

there are no mana-ments in midgard...so that doesn't impact farming in midgard

BD-AE Dot has a much lower delve than shaman AE-Dot

Mostly you have to body pull, disease kite dot.
I doubt, you'll body pull with a BD, - chain armor > all.

well, BD does have pets though that are exellent at pulling whole spots onto one position. The DoT is just too weak i guess to make it a reasonably well farm

simply dots higher.

But even if the delve is higher doesn't a BD dot hit harder because acuity actually increases the BD's damage on spells where for a shaman the dot is not effected by acuity? I might be totally wrong.

I don’t think so. Before I rerolled my shammy, his single target dot was hitting for 90ish and the aoe dot at about 110ish on oj/red mobs.

It's easy to body-pull tons of mobs using the PBAE disease to keep all of them in combat (and snared).

Pulling every single redcap in Moderna (about 150 mobs or so) is rather easy on a shaman.

No other class can do that solo.
