Reduce Purge reuse timer

I really appreciate the fact that you are changing certain RAs and class abilities to make certain classes more viable in RVR. Despite the changes you have already implemented classic rvr is still very unbalanced. Im not asking to change any of the unique class RAs, no matter how strong they are, and i think the fact that most of them are on a 30min timer is a good thing.

I do however believe that Purge, especially in a classic environment where CC is stronger than ever, should be on a 15 or 10minute reuse timer - for the sake of balancing the overall RVR situation.

I dont know what way you are going to go with relics, but if you decide to put the classic, extremely OP relic bonuses in as we had them on uthgard, having Purge available as often as possible will definitely benefit the overall balance.

no offense but this seems like a post for the sake of posting. what is your reasoning behind suggesting 20minutes compared to 15minutes, which would adjust the reuse time to the bottom level of new RA purge? seems somewhat random to me.

considering the pace of the game especially upon the first few weeks/months when there will be undoubtedly the most action rvr, personally i think purge on 15min timer is the minimum needed to balance out rvr not only between realms but also between the different levels of experience players have in this heavily skewed daoc setting that for whatever reason seems to be so popular among the freeshard community.

If you make it 15 min re-use... people we specifically afk/avoid fights waiting for it to come up. I think leaving it high makes one really question using it or not, though I see your point and think middle grant may be best, how about 22.5mins?

Yeah reducing the time will just makes groups wait around more until the timer expires IMHO.

20 minutes is 3x an hour to use and 30 mins is 2x an hour.

You don't think I was serious?

I always thought 20 minutes was a good compromise. 10 minutes is too short, it'll be up pretty much every fight at that point. And quite frankly, in a low population server (I hope this isn't one), it'll be up quite often even at 30 minutes.
