Any streamers who are doing a decent commentary of the game-play?

I mean, actually talking about current form topics, recent RvR battles, even going into detailed conversations about the gameplay design and spec-ing choices. Typically backed up with video proof or testing.

I guess I have been spoiled watching streamers that typically play more single player focused games. However, I feel like new video contents for DAoC could be better.

Currently, I feel like there is an influx of people trying to stream.. buts its really limited to two types of videos

RvR action, with just random conversations of discord chatter.
Random collection of clips from 1v1 battles with random heavy metal/techno music

A Few Examples:

(Example of her talking about the game Anthem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW10zZ4CGNc)

It's hard doing commentary if you are doing group plays since you have to talk to your teammates

You can't talk gameplay design with currents streamer ??

With most discord groups, they typically want you to use a "Push-2-Talk" functions. A streamer could record all of the audio input while also using discord communication with the group.

(So they can talk to both the streamers viewers and the team)

Gameplay choices backed up by testing in this game are still very subjective as the end goal is not as clearly defined as other games. This creates a scenario where the game never feels complete on one hand, but on the other it keeps you coming back for more.

I will take a look!

I don't mind the random video clips of combat with music. I just enjoy hearing people talk out what is going on in there head and why they might be doing something a certain way. (It helps me figure out how to play the game, and react myself)

Right on Darthenron.

Currently my 2 rvr main toons are a spiritmaster and shaman.. My next few streams, i'll definitely ...... voice what is going on and what i'm personally doing.

i can tell you this... most of the rvr streams are 8man pick-up groups or organized 8 mans.

10/10 times you won't hear them discuss who/what/when/where/why because daoc is an old game now and most people are daoc vets and they know their combat roles.

i'm usually streaming my dark spec spiritmaster

but the past couple streams, i have been playing a support role for the group playing shaman... Personally, i've never played a support role in RVR, i've always been a DPS type of guy. So i am Learning.
learning my positioning. Learning my kiting. Learning how to prioritize targets, etc.

I'll make sure to turn down the music and turn up the communication going on moving forward. But as always, if you have questions, just ask! because i'm trying to make my stream the go-to friendly stream where people can tune in and ask questions. I definitely have the nerd resources with my guild to answer anything.

i hope that hypes it up a bit
