PVE Account Credit

Over the last few weeks i have come to notice that less and less pve raids are happening.
For the crowd that wants to get geared and go rvr this may be a great thing but for those who enjoyed the pve raids it's kinda ruining the fun.
As is situation (at least for Hib):
Level one char to lvl 50 (i.e. druid) and join public raids until you have every boss-encounter credit.
level another toon to 50 (i.e. nightshade) and buy your equip from feather merchants ( feathers earned by the almost daily galladoria runs)
(At this point the new toon has never seen a boss but has all the stuff from those encounters)

I think this is wrong!
I think it leads to a decline and a possible stop to pve raids in the long run. (exception: galladoria)
The majority of the playerbase has all encounters and gives a fart about newer players who don't have it. (frustrated players will leave in the long run)
There is no urgent drive for players to kill a boss after the first time but there should be.
In addition to that it kinda devalues a pve boss kill in general.

Suggestion:
1. Turn account credit back to char credit
2. Make the credit count only for buying ONE item at the feather store. (Yes, that means if you want to buy 3 items from legion you have to kill legion 3 times.)
3. Make the credit go away after x amount days/weeks
(roleplay opportunity: display text message: "A fairy magically manifests in front of you. After wiggeling her sparkly butt the memory of your victory against legion fades away like mist in the morning breeze"

I do not agree here although I am favoring PVE over PVP. The main gist of this game is rvr and thus instead of having 2/3 of population farming nameds over and over to achieve their temp before entering the FZ, you can quickly access RVR with only a couple of days of investment into Non-RVR activities.
In my opinion this server hit the right balance between RVR and PVE - this may be subject to change, once the majority has also geared their twinks and when epic dungeon runs are rarely happening anymore.

oh god, please no....


One of my personal MAIN appeals of DAoC always was getting DONE with stuff.
I had already settled in my mind that MMOs probably aren't for me anymore because they are all a everfaster spinning treadmill of newer,better,cooler stuff coming out all the time. Every single one of the solutions is a big nono for me.

Rant inc:
A small voice in me is already disgruntled that the new charge-items kind of make finished template sub-optimal again (but i know that is petty, we can use the charges from invenotry...it still feels like a waste of inventory space and ressources to me personally, i guess if we don't get similar additions every few weeks its overall good to get more realmbalancing, but this is going offtopic)
