Hi guys just wondering why the primary casting stat for the NS has been changed to Strength ? on the 5th ?

it should be dex can i ask why it was changed?

as our dd insta and castble is the reason we get less SP then the other 2. so to nerf our casting is a nerf on the item that makes the class special?

SB only get 2.2 points as well. Infs get 2.5.

Having your primestat as castingstat was a custom-Buff already and considering bladeshade is still the strongest of all assassins i dont feel like this change is unwarranted.

Str is still a buff compared to 1.65

And SB's dont get more speccpoints

It wasn't stupid to make strength the NS acuity, given that it was originally strength in 1.65. What's annoying is that it was moved arbitrarily with neither warning nor explanation. I would also imagine plenty of pierce shades who started 10str/15dex would have started the other way around if they'd expected this change.

Yeah after this change i just wish they implement the ability to change the starting stats.
Infil gets more points, SB can use 2hand and ns has his DD. that hasnt changed but changing the acuity from dex to str should let us at least adjust starting stats

Wouldn't it have made more sense to change it to quickness as that is equally benficial to both pierce and blade shades as well a quickness being naturally higher than str?

Havent looked at my NS for a while but isn't quickness generally higher than str on blade shades and less of a drop off from dex on pierce shades?

My guess (which I must guess, and not know, since there was again NO EXPLANATION) was that they decided that DEX as acuity was just too strong. QUI may have just also been too much.

I personally would have much preferred they had made INT the acuity stat (and enabled +acuity items for shades), and given us a real choice between keens and elves.
