Maybe you LD'ed then? I remember chasing you in a closed off area between HMG and HPK with nowhere to go when you suddenly simply vanished from the map.

Possibly, I can't remember which occasion you're talking about tbh. Were you solo or grouped? If I'm getting chased by a group i'll sometimes jink behind a hill to lose them and then log off for a couple mins :p

Few reasons, usually against casters to break BT. Often double DD, mezz, double DD and side stun chain is enough to kill them. Using 1h means they don't get a chance to quick cast CC

Otherwise if someone is almost dead then using 1h means less recovery time if you miss. Like with the necro in the video

As a soloer myself I realize soloing on a visible class is rough stuff, regardless of class

The skald class is just such a perfect all-rounder on this patch level, leading to it being played by so many (along with the minstrel). I wish just there was more diversity in the solo world
