Put an XP Turn in NPC Inside the Portal Keeps

While it's a great idea to encourage more xping in the frontiers at the risk of getting ganked, having the NPCs also in the frontiers creates a no-brain, afk rp situation for stealthers. Archers, assassins, and minsts just camp the turn-in spots now for braindead rps on 36-49 xpers. It's like the milegate situation, but worse, since at least with milegates they have to be careful about fgs rolling through. The fact that even rr6s and 7s are taking advantage of the easy rp should be evidence that this should change. It's hard enough actually obtaining the items in the first place, with equal risk/reward...

That, or create a scaling bolster for <48 level players to give them level 50 stats as a /command that simultaneously turns off xp gained from mob kills, so as not to be exploited.

If you want the extra xp and the participation in the rvr task, you have to deal with the risk of getting killed. it is intended that it might not be easy to turn them in, but the reward should be worth it. If one npc is camped get some more friends and kill the campers. Gives you even more participaition reward in the end. It would be actually a no-brainer if we would put the npc into the safety of the portal keeps.

Its the frontiers, players getting killed there.

I'm not complaining about the fact that it's the frontiers. I'm acknowledging the fact that it creates a cesspool of sneaks two shotting greens. Another solution would be to add multiple turn in spots all across the map so it's not as braindead as it currently is.

there are already multiple turn ins, as in two per realm

you proably won't like to hear that the other one is further away in Emain/Hadrians/Odins, but the option to go somewhere else is already there

I know there's a second... That's why I said multiple.

Definetly not a good idea, it's already super easy to turn it in even when low level. It's RvR, people are supposed to die.

I was just trying to help with information in a joking way, but since you want to play the hairsplitting game:

You didn't say just "multiple", you said multiple turn in spot. The difinition of multiple when used as an adjective is "more than one".
Only when used as noun it means "more than one or two".

If getting information you already had is such a burden for you just write more next time

Getting ganked at the turn in spot is a bonus because you get rewarded for that by task participation again!

Stop waiting for the last 5 min of a task in a realm to turn in your items. Stealthers either wait at turn in merchant or get a head start into the next task zone. Play smart.

Hold your turn ins until you have 2500 and rip out to the merchant as soon as the task comes around again and unlock ports. You should be able to grab a flag or two while doing this.

The problem isn't the turn-in spot, it is the amount of RPs people are getting for killing sub-50s. It needs to greatly be reduced. As of right now, it is almost more efficient killing blues and low yellows and never having to die and run back, than actually killing 50s, and that is a problem. You are actively encouraging (especially Albs for some reason) to kill lowbies as opposed to 50s.

Fix it.

There's no hairsplitting game. See above where I said,

Clearly, you misunderstand how "multiple" is used in sentences, especially given the context of other words used in the sentence, or context provided by the author originally (why would I say "spots" if I did not already know there were at least two NPCs?). Additionally, if I wanted to say "two," the more common word would be "couple," whereas "multiple," as evidenced by your snarky, Dunning-Kruger-esque link, is "something in units of more than one or two" -- given my previous statements, or even a simple grasp of the English language, we can determine "multiple" is used more often to refer to "several," i.e. three or more. Spare me your boring, incorrect lesson on semantics.

Anyway.. asked and answered. Feel free to lock before we get even more off topic.
