My suggestion for the task system (ill try to keep it brief ;)

To begin with, i'd like to commend the devs on the task system and the server overall. The server wouldnt have been nearly this big of a success without your hard work and generally good QoL, balance and RvR changes. I really think the task system incentivizes the masses to RvR and thats good for everyone that wants a healthy server.

Anyways, here goes.

1) Make large scale rvr and keeps great again.
- Allow porting to keeps except the inner ones, similar to the NF system - but ONLY when the task is active in that zone.
- Extend task timer from 1 hour to 3 hours. Reward every 30 or 60 minutes. This is simply to allow zerg/keep fights to play out, rather than everyone just stopping and moving to the next area when the task ends. 3 hours would also make sure the same realm isnt invaded during the same time of every day.
- If a relic anywhere is captured, immediately move the invasion to the realm that captured the relic.
- If three keeps are taken in a realm where the task currently isn't (within 6 hours), move the task there.
- Improve RP for defending keeps

2) Make roaming full groups and smallmans great again
- Remove porting to flags.
- Separate the flags more. Place one in each "inner" zone and keep 3 in the current zones.
- Reward people for taking, holding and fighting at flags.
- Give extra bonus RP for capping/defending different flags to make people move about instead of camping just one

3) Make soloing great again.
- I think the above changes would make people move about a lot more, allowing soloers to have more targets to hunt in many more areas.

It is too late now ok, they almost had it with the portal /release timer but didn't make every frontier task zone so people just stood at pk waiting for timer, the timer should of scaled btw based on how many people are in the zone.

Anyway the task system is a complete flop like i said day 1 of beta it was put in, you get too many rps now. People have insane rank already so only option is to reset all realm ranks and remove the tasks.

Only task that should be in game is a keep task for the roleplayers aka me.

Sorry didnt spot the thread talking about teleports, only saw the one discussing RP bonuses in other zones (checked page 1+2).

Dont care much about people talking about it in other parts of the forum.

Do you think we would see the amount of people currently RvRing though, without the tasks?

I think they are sort of necessary for a healthy population.

Having general population high rank is the worst thing that could happen to the server, one of the main reasons live died is because of the zergs on stick just roaming and just trying to bomb the zerg gets boring real fast.

If you want to come anywhere close to making reasonable comments about server health and what is good in general, you really need to lose the PoV of the set-grp 5to10hours a day player. Look at what you say from different playstyle-players PoV and you might come to other conclusion. (or just state that it is the worst thing to happen to 8mans, instead of the worst thing to happen to the whole server)
