Hey guys,

You have opened Pandora's box with the current implementation of the task system. Personally I am against it. You might not have seen why.

But a brief video here:

Surely this type of instant action was not what you intended. I know many of us didn't sign up for this type of arena based RvR. As you can see in the voting you have polarized the community into heavy debates for and against teleportation.......

Obviously the game cannot remain in its current state for long.....

But there seems to be a good portion of people that want to keep teleportation. With that I am open for a compromise, and I think many of us are looking for a middle-ground.

Can you please provide some feedback on what you guys might be working on in the meantime in the background? What possible solutions do you have for this issue.

They could just make the porter only useable like every 5 Minutes. They could handle it with a second ress sick debuff.
Or you cant teleport for 5 minutes after beeing killed in a rvr zone. However...think there is a solution...

there was a good solution in NF..... keeps with porters that need 4 towers to be portable.

imo the current porting system is not completly bad but it changes to much and the points are in the middle of nowhere...
you dont know where to go because you dont know where enemys come from, make it a bit more solid, so that you can keep one port location for a longer time.
why not make a keep portable? just like in nf..... would it be possible to implement some towers? then defending realm has to defend the keep plus several towers to keep the port available. there would be a rvr hot spot around that keep but not just simply camp the keep.

now change tasks to "fight in realm xyz" "conquer keep xyz" and make towers worth rp bonuses. so ppl feel an urge to get towers for rp bonus

i think nothing else is needed in case of task and spread action without making it a total chaos

Exactly, the keeps are near useless right now. The teleport flags are completely arbitrary and new and hold no value to the population. Easy fix- merge them. Make the keeps the teleport spots, it's very obvious this is how it was done and how it should be done again.

They just added a 2 minute timer after death, you can no longer do this. It blows my mind that you blindly walk into a 2v1 over and over again. One might argue that you are feeding some cross realm friends with this kind of play walking in donating yourself.

We are update to release "Update #5" on the RvR system.

Also we're discussing internally further changes, especially regarding the port system and in general the travel times.

The point of the video was to showcase how quickly you can get back to a fight. Not about winning.
Otherwise I would have rebuffed properly, and I got to them so quick I was not worth rps.

I had been abusing these mechanics the entire time it was available. With good results.

I always fight a 1v2 if its a class match up I think I can win, and minst infil is one of those.
