Add Phoenix Tears to Crafting Section of Wiki

It's irritating to level up crafting wanting to make something and then learning after hitting 400 that you can't make anything useful without grinding tears. It's a bit of a catch 22 to not be able to make my own end pots to level with when I can't get the mats until level 50.

Tears are tradable and purchasable; you don't need to grind them from feathers yourself.

Not for prices a low level character can afford, and the wiki should talk about phoenix tears in any case.

I don't disagree that tears should be documented better.
However, I find it laughable that your argument is that low-level characters need tears to craft "at-level". All level 20, most level 30, and some level 40 recipes do not require tears. If you are at the point where you can craft and use level 30 or 40 recipes, then you have enough gold to buy tears from the housing merchants. Just to be able to make level 40 pots you have probably already poured at least a few plat into alchemy.

Alchemy requires tears at 400 skill. That's not exactly high level.

You don't need tears to gain skill. In fact, you should be searching for the cheapest path, since some are way more expensive than others.

You do realize that the recipes that take tears in the 400 range are the 30 charge version of the same buff you can make as 10 charges w/o tears (potion vs elixirs). If you are complaining that you absolutely must have those buffs, make the 10 charges. If you are saying that you need these recipes to skill up, then Lairirian is right, chose a different recipe to skill up with.
