Longwind and Tireless

Right now, you spend 2 realm skill points to get both of these abilities. I don't know many people who would not spend the points to collect these passives for any character. They are basically a staple for every character to have. This is why Tireless was made a passive that everyone got on the Live servers way back when. Longwind remained a realm skill but you could spec into higher versions of it, for instance you could spec into longwind 2 so that you could regain endurance while sprinting if you had a blue invigoration potion. This was very useful for pvp and it didn't break the bank since blue invigoration potions are generally significantly cheaper than their strong counter part. With Longwind 1 and yellow invigoration potions you can achieve the same effect but at a greater gold cost that some don't necessarily want to afford.

My suggestion would be to make Tireless a level 10 passive that all classes get, and make Longwind 1 a level 30 passive that everyone gets. If you don't want to give longwind 1 away for free then I would ask if you could allow us to spend a few more points into it so we can get some added benefit since we are more or less forced to get this realm skill anyway.

Recap:

Level 10 Tireless Unlocked as passive for all classes
Level 30 Longwind 1 Unlocked as passive for all classes
OR
Add Longwind 1-3 to the realm abilities.

Thanks, I hope this makes sense.

I think this is a custom change to help make pally/bard/sham a staple...so I'm not sure if the staff want to change it...

In fact...I'm pretty sure Quik is currently typing how if solo'ers want more endurance regen, they should group up with a pally/bard/shaman, or accept the downsides of soloing.

I mean, if you wanted to just spend the extra money on yellow invigoration potions, end regen is a non issue in both standing still, combat and sprinting. This applies to both solo, small man and group play.

Bards will always have a place in hib groups being the main mezzer and speed class.
Shaman have the buffs and strong interrupts and CC
The only one I can see having some issue is the paladin since without the need for end chant but again I don't see this harming them too much since you can already get away with not having one with yellow invig potions and long wind. And everyone will have longwind.

My point is, since everyone is already spending 2 realm skill points for both Tireless and Longwind regardless of class make up, why not just make them passives you get while leveling up. If I could get longwind 2 or better I'd be okay spending points on it to get that benefit, but right now I'm forced to only have longwind 1 for no real reason, I can just use better potions and get the same effect.

They had 5 tiers of tireless and LW in beta and removed them because it made Paladins obsolete (along with end potions, which they also reduced to a max level of 3) due to the same issue.

There are no yellow end reg buffs ingame (besides from the classes that provide end-regen ofcourse)
The lvl40 endurance reg potions still only give End3 despite costing a lot more gold.

So, no, it isn't currently possible. And getting higher endurance regen is something that was tested and decided against so more people group paladins.

You have a point though, that the two RAs are basically baseline first RAs for every character, no matter the class, tireless and LW are must haves. Giving them baseline could be an option, but with how fast early RRs come by i am not sure it is needed. It basiacally boils down to: should everyone get 2more realmskillpoints or not.
