Group Crack and Casting while moving

1. Will there be group crack for mentalist and sorcs?

2. Will we have AF, Abs shields, and crack castable while moving?

We already discussed this some time before when server was still in Alpha and we decided to not implement grp-buffs and castable spells while moving.

As a player I would prefer not to have to cast pom every 10 minutes on 6 people when I could use one spell.

For balance issues, if every realm has it, then all are equal, and all save their carpal tunnel for something more useful like watching anime.

Oh, yes! That would be mega nice!
I even avoid to play classes with lot of temp buffs i.e. theuergist. Each stop - buffs to more then half of group earth and wind. And in between - self buffs additional - its a horror!
A group buff will make it more comfortable!

The buffs had their duration increased to 20 minutes.

Yes, all realm targeted buffs are 20 minutes and all self buffs that were 20 are 23 so that people got some extra time there when they forget to rebuff in time.

Early on we internally voted on this to either use grp spells and/or move cast or duration increase, the duration increase won. Many were against move cast because of how live like it seems and also caster being able to rebuff af/absorb when rezzed in rvr while running away.
Group buffs basically lost because the duration increase should take most of the pain away without having to figure out where to put the new spells (list caster can only have exactly 1 spell per level and spell line).

Try to play a Theurgist. Even if temp buffs last 20 minutes, you have to buff each 20 minutes about 15-20 temp Buffs , if you have a tank group - Mins, Pala, 2-3 Tanks, Sorc and mins-pet - two for each, self in order to see when they gone and 2 selfbuffs. Its really a pain! Additional,
if you let Bubble-Chant running, you are instant OOP after rebuff! Thus you have additional cancel running bubble, buff and rebuf bubble again and activate MCL in order to have power for running bubble and for the case of inc. Isn't it a bit too much of clicks every 20 minutes? You are more busy while stops and just moving with group, then wenn you fights!

Earth Buff and two self Buffs are 3 sec each, Wind Buff is 3, 5 sec/each, Bubble is 4 sec. So, you are just buffing about 2 minutes long. Now the often situation, you have two guild groups there and one of them is without theurgist... or some stealther asks you for your temp buffs. Sometimes I just wish log out there!

I love to play a Theurgist, but these aspect is really no fun! No other class in the game has to buff as much and as often! In the time other players take a drink, make a tea, or going to the bathroom during the stop at the keep, a theurgist has to rebuff. :/ Please do there anything.

Shouldn´t have chosen to play a Theurg then. When 20 clicks every 20 minutes is too much, you must be very annoyed using a mobile phone, tapping every 3 seconds. For minutes.

I don't think group buffs are unreasonable. It's a huge QoL, just like /train and increased buff timers. I've said this in other posts, focus should be on RvR and enjoying a very old game, small annoyances like these will accumulate fast and create bigger issues.

I do agree that buffing while moving is something we can live without though.

These are just my opinions btw, It's up to the devs to listen to player feedback and make a decision based on that at the end of the day.

I won't play any pom or dmg add class unless they put group spells in.

I'm already working on a pretty decent set of carpal tunnel, I don't need the clicks.

How many clicks to 50? How many clicks to whatever?

All can be avoided by a simple quality of life fix. It is not a balance issue.

I would very much agree with group pom / dmg add / haste being implemented.

You can may see it being equivalent to the resistence buffs where this feature has always been in place since day 1 of DAoC.

Therefore I definitely support the introduction of group pom / dmg add / haste.

Casting while moving however I find silly: When you move, you cant cast, DAoC rule since day 1. Period.
