It does. +11 means +5.5 % damage on dd.
also your dd mezz snare are considered higher lvl for resist ? (not sure about that)

iirc there was no benefit during beta, so there will be no Bonus now too

not sure if those percentages are correct. it does very little for dd dmg but it has an effect.

2nd point is incorrect (kinda) resist rate is based on spell level not skill level. however if your skill level falls below a certain threshold (<37 @ l50) ) your spells will cost more mana to cast and be less effective. however since skald will have 46 songs its somewhat irrelvant.

bottom line: if you can afford to cap it, cap it. but skald template is one of the harder ones in the game and every other stat will benefit you more than +songs.

In my case i have to chose between quickness and battlesongs for spellcraft.
My last daoc experience was 15 years ago, there was the school of no quickness to have higher dmg on skalds but i am confused dunno what is better on this version of daoc

I tested it on Target Dummys and the damage does indeed to up with +Battlesong.

I didn't calculate the amount, but 0.5% per point seems reasonable.

I wouldnt bother with it (if you struggle templating) for group play, but it's nice for solo/smallman where the dmg does make a difference.

I managed to make my template semi-weaponless (weapon needs +4 hammer) with most rogs being 58-62 ish utility, except my bracers that are 75 and 67.
