Is there a command for targeting another players pet? (Or advice on how to quickly select/target them)

I'm starting to level a healing class, and have been apart of some pet focus pulling. However, I'm having a hard time re-selecting the player's pet if I need to heal someone else in the group.

I think there is a "TARGET OWN PET", but I'm unable to find any information about targeting another players pet. ("Pet" is not a searchable term)

My goal would be to create a macro that could be used to create additional macros of selecting a group members pet.

To my knowledge you cannot macro to target a pet. Best bet is to assist off of the chanter or menty ( or another healer if you play another realm, but outside of hib who does focus pulls?

For these groups its best to make a macro assisting the one class that will have the pet in target while pulling.

In enchanter focus pull grp this is the ManaMentalist as it should HoT the pet throughout the pull.

In verdant Ani AoE Groups its the verdant Animist itself as it should always have pet In target for keeping up its own 15sec ABS buff on the pet.

By the way, you could also use 1-2 groupheals instead of switching the target. When every healer does that a Player is quickly 0 to 100 and you never lost pet target. (Be cautious tho, produces more Aggro and Consumes tons of power)

in pet focus groups i go to settings and turn off nameplates of my group mates - allowing easier click selection of the pet

also there is CONTROL + TAB to cycle through your allies...

Ask the pet holder to keep targeting their pet and make a /macro Assist /assist <name> and just press that.
