Friends list - account based

Would it be possible to make the friends list account based instead of character based? Would be very convenient to be able to see my friends log on if i'm playing an alt, and not constantly /who'ing them. Especially considering I cant add them if they arent online. So I don't see when/if they log in when on an alt. Thanks for your time, and awesome sauce job so far.

Well if they did this it would have to be restricted to realm based only.

I dont know, maybe. But /who is already realm specific. At least I'd assume by the message of "that player is not online, or in another realm."

So ya, I guess realm specific lists might need to be a thing. But if the friends list is just based off an automatic /who of the names on your list. I dont think that would be an issue. As friends in other realms would just come back as offline.
