I want to RVR, and I like mez / heal powers. What are the classes that do that?

I think its bard or healer, right?

Im From P99, and I wanted to do some PvP over here and I like being pretty active in gameplay. I like healing but also like CC. I don't remember the classes too well, I played Alb/Mid in classic, and thought I might do Hib this time around, but maybe Mid.

Also, how do the warrior/hero/arms type characters without magic even do RVR? I figure you cant catch anyone and have no options to slow people.

Also do any stealthers have heals?

on EQ I main bard and like enchanter type play too. Not sure if charms or such translate to this game the same way. People told me charm isn't as good here but not sure why.

Yes.

No idea what P99 is but if you stick with heals AND cc AND want to go hib you can either pick bard or druid. Bard is a swiss army knife with heals, speed, buffs, endu, mana and CC. Druids have heals, buffs (including specs tho) and cc (also: some dmg and a pet).

Full tanks are mainly used as peelers here. In some cases they are part of tank groups tho. 1.65 favors casters by some. Tank groups would work but require some RR.

No heals on stealthers other than IP for archers/minstrel.

Never played EQ.

Everyone was at some point.

If you go Midgard then the Healer is basically your wet dream, it combines being Mainhealer with also being the Main-CCler

In Hibernia the Bard is the Main-CCler that can also heal a bit with traditional heals

Mentalist (almost forgot, good call Cadebrennus) does have healing via a very strong Heal-over-time and can also Mezz. Very strong and versatile caster, though in (full)- grps his mainjob is neither Healing nor CCing
