Skald has always been a great class

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with Old RA Skald had 30 minute purge.

Right now they have 5 minute purge, Speed of Sound for 5 points, and Det 9 for 22 points. They were strong before, now its just wild.

It seems a little overboard.

In which playstyle are they overboard because of what?

Seriously, if you want to have something changed you Need to be specific about what is problematic, hod exactly that happens and when does that happen


Listing a few abilities and then claiming it is too much is nothing more than a whine.

And to top it iff, you post it in the suggestion section without suggesting anything

Root purged. Root speed of sound. Root and det 9 gets him out of it in 10 seconds. skald used to sit full duration root with old ra. The change is to move det 9 back to 34 points. The are tons of repercussions of giving det 9 at such a low cost. PD cost gets increased and det cost gets reduced? That's not balnced.

I play an solo Infiltrator, so this makes no difference to me at all:

Skald's should never have been given Determination.

Giving Determination to under-grouped classes like Reaver, Champ etc was a great idea. Skalds were already more popular than probably all of those "new Det" hybrids combined. They were always very groupable and played in all aspects of the game (zerg, 8v8, smallman, solo and even pve). It was actually one of the few classes in most mid groups that you could CC. If I was in the 8v8 scene I'd be pretty pissed tbh.
