Just wondering how well a skald does solo leveling and at 50 rvr? Thanks in advance.
it takes a while to lvl but thanks to collection tasks and kill tasks you can be 50 in less than 2 weeks if you play like 2hours daily even if you have to solo. As soon as possible you should level alchemy for buffpotions tho you will need them in rvr aswell. Solo skald is pretty decent if you dont mind killing xpers/farmers/questers in the frontier, but classes like thrust/shield bm or reaver will be unkillable without purge up since slam is 9sec duration and you only have an after parry ats debuff with hammer, also infis with dragonfang will probably kill you aswell without purge up. But minstrels/casters which run solo are quite manageable as a skald and you can also find some grps or make a small man quite easiely. Skald is probably the most convienent class to solo on since OF is pretty big and we dont have horses or bp speed for stealthers so you will always rely on the hasteners of the keeps. Also I would suggest using dwarf as starting class 5% more body resist are prlly really worth it. Fighting duos will be pretty tough tho without any rr advantage since the damage isnt that great as a skald especially without toa melee speed even a caster can tank like 4-5 hits from a 2h if temped.
