SZ Off Hand Damage vs NS

Hi,

I am playing a SZ with 50 (comp in LA) and everytime I am dueling a NS there OFFHAND damage is twice higher than mine. I am talking for same rank or lower rank fight.

GMs, could you explain me how is it possible to have such a difference in DPS?

At the moment NS have no competition in the stealth war and that not fair.

Thanks.

LA reduces the damage of both your weapons b/c you always swing with both. As your LA goes up, this reduction goes down.
You can't have a good comparison without also knowing the speed of both weapons.
NS is armor resistant to Slashing damage.
If they are Blades spec, they are getting a bonus against your armor (though I doubt most are).

You hit with your offhand every swing, and have a damage reduction mostly in the offhand and slightly in the mainhand that reduces with LA spec. You cannot entirely remove this damage reduction, just mitigate it.

The NS (and inf / merc / blademaster / ranger) swings their offhands a percentage of the time. This percentage rises with CD / DW skill, but never reaches 100%. Offhand damage is not reduced.

These are completely different mechanics - mitigated reduction in damage versus mitigated reduction in swing rate. If you were hitting as hard with your offhand as the NS was, that would indicate a serious problem.
