Looking to start playing

Im confused how to even install this thing.. Not too computer savy as you will..

i have downloaded phoenix, i do need help with the rest.. Please and thanks in advance

First you download and patch the DAOC client from the real DAOC website:
http://darkageofcamelot.com/sites/daoc/files/downloads/DAoCSetup.exe
So download that, run it which installs Live DAOC. Run that so that it patches the whole live game.

Once that's installed and patched, you drop the Phoenix files you downloaded into that folder and then run Phoenix.exe (which you just dropped into that folder) to run the game. I make a short cut to phoenix.exe on my desktop.

Log in with your forum account info and viola.

What if I've already been playing live? Where do I make the folder? Do I unzip the file to that folder?

Then you just extract the phoenix files you downloaded into your live install.

There is a step by step description that covers all of your questions so far. Just do it as described, that should not be that hard.
