Dude jacked all the goodies from todays Sidi raid. Just a heads up for any new players or for those who are not familiar with this game trying to get some loots. Felt like this should be posted as a big FYI.

I don't know if he Ninjaed since the loot treasure system is in place.
Saw it the first time and I have to admit: Well done @gruenesschaf well done.

The raid enviroment is awesome, some encounters have zerg mechanics and you release to the entrance (WTF wie geil is das denn?)
Then those treasure chest roll system implemented is just pure awesomeness, no long waiting 2h for the items to roll its fantastic.

So I'm not sure if he can ninja stuff out of the treasure chest without the BG getting a notice. I saw some messages when they put items out (the 20x boots no one wanted). I rather think some grps didnt join the bg and got aggro in the end or most damage or what ever and stole it that way ^^ In the end on a 240+ BG I dont care if someone stole loot since my chance of rolling it are zero anyways ^^
Thanks for organizing it

Tons of nerds were watching the loot spam and tons of nerds seen the cloaks drop, yet they never ended up in the chest. I personally don't give a F about the loot really i just want the kill cred and a more clear looting system. Expand the capacity of the chest so all raid loot goes into it. People will always be sketch and no one trusts anyone. Make the looting system A: all loot goes to chest. B:bg lead just runs the commands for roll. C: BG lead can't take anything out of the chest without rolling himself. You can even input something that gives the BG lead gold or a random item for leading which i don't think anyone would care about because someone has to lead.

No sense in complaining just to complain. Come equipped with constructive criticism for the devs to implement or take notes on things you would like to do differently for your own BGs in the future. I personally learned a lot from this raid and am thankful for the credit I received.

Sigh, another clown who has no clue what he is talking about. There were some cloaks that disappeared from Apocalypse, the GMs have already been contacted about it. Spreading false information is kinda stupid and you're going to get yourself a bad reputation from it.

@Durrty Thanks for the raid yesterday. Nostalgia hits harder than bosses ;P

I’ve had bad experiences with this particular player and their guild twice already in the short time the server has been live.

First incident was while leveling in DF. This player was our group leader and once we had gotten a ways down into the dungeon he announced that he was “going to make some changes” and then disband most if not all of the group. He then said something along the lines of “don’t be mad niggas” in /say. During this time he also disbanded the infiltrator randomly and was spamming LFG for additional members despite the fact that our group was full.

The second run in I had this this guild was while pulling danoin soldiers. A FG that included members of this guild was doing trees and when they started getting wiped this group ran their pull through our aoe. This could have been an accident, but given the behavior and treatment of other players I had witnessed from them a day or two before I have my doubts.

Anyone who disbands a group they have formed and dragged around in the middle of a dungeon with no warning shows a basic disregard for fellow players and just might be the type of person to steal from a raid.

My claim to the loot ninjaing may or may not have been true. Had a few very toxic run ins with this dude while leveling and loot from yesterday disappeared. The Cyreath cloaks and trash loot in the chest obviously seem a bit conspicuous. Today's raid seems to be better though.

I never left BG, dudes literally still pulling loot from the chest right now. Dudes making straight bank.

Not going to comment on what he did or didn't do during leveling since I wasn't there nor does it concern me. However I was part of the Caer Sidi raids and going into the first raid of the server to ninja shit is literally the stupidest thing you can do and trust me when I say we did not have any intention of doing so nor did we. Cloaks/other loot apparently disappeared from Apocalypse, GMs were contacted after the raid highlighting the issue, there's not much more we can do about it. If we would have somehow stolen items I am fairly sure the GMs would have been on top of it considering it being the first raid on Alb.

Pretty sure it's not a secret that there was salvage loot left however if you would've actually been there when rolling was over and loot was distributed we gave everyone a chance to take whatever they wanted, we're not going to sit there and distribute 10g to 250+ raid members. I do invite you to host your own raids however and I will be curious to see how long it takes you, just doing the initial items took almost an hour and a lot of people already left due to it taking too long, I know for sure I am not going to wait around for anything less than 300+ gold, most likely make double that in the same time farming...

Honestly it would be great if other people started hosting raids, that way we can sit back and relax if we do not want to lead but unless you haven't noticed we're currently at 2 Sidi raids (both hosted by Durrty & I) whereas Hib is looking at 8-9 Galla raids already, but sure, sit here and be toxic, hope you're feeling good about it.

Hail mighty knights, holy clerics, demented dark mages, pyromaniacs, assassins and friends of the realm!

For the people who have grouped with me while I was leveling that I removed from the group, usually it was due to me experiencing you to be slacking, not buffing correctly after repeated attempts, having friends in the group which was holding up spots and not contributing (like having a sorc and a minstrel while doing Shredder farming) and me having someone from guild or alliance asking to join instead, which I always try to facilitate as long as it doesnt damage the group.

Great to see so many people joining and able to go Sidi and get their boss credits and kick some a** for the realm!

Regarding the cloaks and I remember someone was saying something about a crown - There might have been an issue due to there being two BGs instead of one during that raid. I have had nothing to do with the "lost loot".

BGs seem to be slightly unstable to say the least right now on the server, so someone in the other BG might have jacked it.

I have no idea who that would be, or if the person that was last in the BG even spawned the loot chest and pulled out the items once we had all left the raid. Perhaps the GMs would like to investigate?

However it sure is an issue that the loot chest cannot show more than 100 items at a time, without any page function beyond that. Perhaps this is something that the devs can fix in a future update?

Obviously I dont mind as I got enough arcanium last raid to create template sets for three chain users in Wrath as well as myself. Everyone on the server seems to think that I'm extremely rich now too, which has its downsides (I'm a euro socialist and gave 3/4 of the 5p in salvaged arcanium away), and most people in the guild seem to think that I owe them tons of money now too. Not sure it's a perk really after having to deal with bad mannered players and a quite large raid environment.

I would however like to point out that I wouldn't want to change that fact. I really enjoy leading the raids and seeing all the players on Albion come together in a joyful experience!

PS: Feel free to ask GMs to investigate my vaults, character or interactions with other players to find "stolen" loot that isn't there. I'm sure they'll appreciate that.

FOR ARTHUR. FOR THE LADY. FOR ALBION!

I was not at the raid, but obv there was a lot of toxic behaviour going on, with a secong BG being created by a kicked player and him promoting it in LFG channel. I participated in a lot of raids, there is alwaye those ppl that just stick or semi AFK and dont contribute anything. I dont think any raidleader would boot someone for no reason...
@Durrty I would suggest you just post your rules to participate in BG channel before starting a raid so ppl understand why they get kicked.

For now we have to deal with the loot system that we have. Devs are busy fixing the memory leak so lets not bother them with tasks like checking log files...

And about the fact that he kicked someone in a PVE group, even though I dont promote this behaviour, lots of people take the effort of leveling a PVE character for a reason...

There is something to be said for the value of a player that is able and willing to lead raids-- there is no doubt about that. Unfortunately, I can't help but see the magnanimity and role playing flourish in this response as little more than a metaphorical brown paper bag being carefully placed over the misshapen visage of a solid 2/10.

I'm going to directly address this as I feel it is more than a little misleading. You invited me (Reaver) and a friend (Sorc) to your group while there were 3-4 of you in the frontiers focus pulling trees. Obviously Reaver is not ideal in a focus pulling set up, but I had shield side stun and was trying to peel when needed and provide that sweet 5% xp bonus. You were also getting crack from the sorc which I assume was the reason you invited us two in the first place.

Eventually it is decided that we will move to DF. I do not recall if we got wiped or the camps weren't ideal as there were other focus pull groups just about everywhere. You then state that Aaronx, our cabalist, will be AoE DoTing and we will no longer be focus pulling. Uhhh, OK, fine, we can do that, but it obviously wont be nearly as effective and it will be certainly be harder for us to maintain aggro as by this point we only have an arms, infiltrator (which you invited, disbanded and then invited again...?) and Reaver as our tanks. I don't remember the exact group setup but we ended up adding another cleric who struggled with buff allocation, but seemed to eventually figure it out. I'm inclined to be patient with people on the first day of the server, but that's just me.

So here we are, a group that you have personally created using a strategy of your choosing, ready to do "AoE DoT" pull in DF. What happens? Well, the sort of thing that usually happens when a Cabalist AoE DoTs multiple mobs after a poorly constructed tank train has had about 8 seconds to generate aggro. The mobs go on him and then eventually on to the healers trying to keep him up and we wipe.

"Maybe we should try focus pulling instead?" was suggested more than once and ignored. Again, I get it if the Cabby finds focus pulling boring, is eating or fiddling with his nuts, or whatever, but you can't expect a group with two clerics and a Cabalist to work as well when we are trying to do some convoluted DoT strategy. We had both the ability to focus pull and the ability to single target pull with mezzes from a mind Sorc, but nah, let's AoE DoT pull instead.

Anyways, to my recollection, we got a bit deeper into DF and were, shockingly, running into the same problems we had been experiencing. Aggro got out of control and I think a few people may have died. We rez up and then "I'm going to do some restructuring". I see group members disbanded until eventually I too am removed. Then we are treated to some garbage "apology" in /say.

So here we are, somewhere near rocots (So it's not like we can leave without dying), with a group that you have personally put together using a strategy that you and your guildmate have chosen, and you decide to entirely disband us with no communication. It's a real shitty thing to do and honestly not something I have ever seen in all the years I have played DAoC. The last time I can remember seeing someone treat group mates so poorly was back on Igraine during SI when a Merc named Kkortus would consistently run into spawns before disbanding when he was logging for the night resulting in the entire group getting rolled, but I digress.

We have all had shit groups filled with uncommunicative players that might as well be playing from 6' underground, but outside of perhaps our inexperienced Cleric this group was not one of those. On top of that it was one you had constructed yourself. Each member invited was one that you had OK'd. You chose our strategy and lead us to where you wanted to level. Then you unceremoniously disbanded everyone in a pit of aggro with little more than a "don't be mad niggas". Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but there is a sense of decorum when it comes to PvE group play that I think is reasonable to expect from other players in old MMORPGs, especially DAoC, and your actions and attitude were definitely not in line with what I've come to see from fellow adults playing this game. It is seems clear to me from the context of my experiences with you and your guild as well as the nature of your post that other players can expect the same sort of treatment when grouping with you.

Does what I'm saying here really matter? No, not really. I expect if you lead successful raids than your value to the community far outweighs the exceptionally low perception of your character those that interact with you might come to have. It is unfortunate, however, that there is generally no recourse for people who display so little class when interacting with others outside of a half baked post on a thread that is probably going to be locked.

I read a the first few sentences, then I decided that I did the right thing removing you from my group and I will now leave the forums for another couple of weeks.

Thank you for expressing your feelings, Magesty. Hope you fulfill your desires some day, sir.

Best regards,
Durrty
