POV Albion:

I got a staff with only +26 Strength... Good for a paladin...
I feel like 1/3 of the drop staff have the attribut of Strength.

I suggest that the dev should fix the rog stats to match with the class that actually use the weapon.

Necros like Str on staff, helps to carry loot. Also, focus Cabbiies and any other solo farming caster.
Seriously, though, sounds like you are just having a run of strange luck, I personally don't see very many Staffs with +Str.

Besides, that is what the "R" in ROG is, the same mechanic that gets you +Str also gets you 100 utility items later on.

ROG can't be too random. There should be some bounds for stat generation, otherwise things get too messy.

Diablo 2 did it fairly well.

Just got my Wiz to 11. I have yet to see one single staff drop with Int. They have all been either Acuity or str

Acuitiy is your casting attribut.

It converts to int for Wizzards, Sorc, Eld, Ench, etc., piety for healers, clerics etc., charisma für minstrel, bard and so on.

dont I feel sheepish. Just looked at my stats, for some reason I was confusing Acuity with Piety. Did not know that Acuity = Intelligence

Strength is intentionally put in because many players would be encumbered very fast because of the high droprate.
