Reaction Styles

My friend and I have noticed that it seems that the window for landing reaction styles is much smaller than it used to be, though the years could be playing tricks on our memories. Here is the scenario that I personally keep running into that is leading me to believe there may be something funny happening here.

I am in combat.
I select my evade reactionary style with an anytime for backup.
I evade.

Now here is where things get a little goofy. Usually, the style that fires will be the reactionary however there have been consistent instances where if I take a little longer to swing, my anytime will be what fires even though the target did not have another attack since I evaded them.

Has the GM team been getting reports that are anything like this? What about the rest of you fine folks, do things seem in line with what you remember or does the window for reactionary styles seem smaller to you as well?

Yes it was a custom change. Iirc the window is open for 2 or 3 seconds for reactionaries. Maybe someone can clarify the exact amount of time?

I've also noticed a reduced, or none existent reactionary style window. It's annoying on low quickness classes!

Also noticed this on my Nightshade.

Before, I could evade stun an enemy and Hamstring until the stun wore.
Now I can only stun. The reactionary fails on subsequent attacks.

I believe this is working as intended. You should only get one reactionary style from one reaction.

As someone new to Daoc, I appreciate this change and it, realistically speaking, makes sense. I'm just curious how this will impact class viability that could exploit that window of response.

Combat Style Changes - Reactionary combat styles now provide a 3 second window in which the player may use the style. When a reactionary style is available for use (such as after you block your target and you wish to use a block reactionary style), the reactionary style will register as valid and trigger as long as you use it within 3 seconds.
