Highly Recommend Reshade to Improve your Graphics

I use SMAA, Vibrance, Colorfulness, and Clarity. Those are the only 4 boxes I check.

Instructions:
Download reshade. Run reshade. Select camelot.exe Select directx 9. Uncheck all. Only check SMAA, Vibrance, Colorfulness, and Clarity if you want the settings I was using.
Hit Home buttom in game and you can pull up the options and make sure Vibrance, Colorfulness, and clarity are checked. You can install more of the settings and check/uncheck them if you want

I suggest adding a short tutorial on which file to select in the folder and which directX to use so people know how to use your suggestion!

Then it probably doesn't make enough for you.
Imo the picture with it looks much more crisp and vibrant.

Are you setting it on phoenix.exe or daoc.exe?
Can you force Antialiasing x16 with it or do you have to do that manually?

Just grabbed this and made those settings changes. I'll report back on my thoughts.

I doubt this is a problem but could we get a dev to sign off on the safety of using this software by verifying it is not against the game rules? I don't want to inadvertently get banned

I have installed it and Im using the following at 3440x1440 windowed fullscreen:
Clarity.fx
Colourfulness.fx
LumaSharpen.fx
Vibrance.fx
SMAA.fx

Looks GREAT. Holy crap. Wish I knew this before. I will try later to force 16x AA with nvidia panel aswell cause im a bit unsure if SMAA actually works.

Minor update: the chat text does become a bit blurry with SMAA otherwise no difference. I suggest not using it.

Something to note, after taking the steps Defias listed, I also needed to take the following steps:

Press "Home" (This opens the console for Reshade)

check the three previous boxes we selected (Vibrance, Colourfullness, Clarity)

Click load at the bottom of the console
None of the effects from Reshade took place until I took the above steps.

Edit: I found all three loaded to be a bit much on sensual overload (Made everything pop out too much - I'm currently only using Colourfulness and Clarity)

Edge detection type: Depth edge detection
Edge detection threshold: 0.060
Max search Steps : 112 (max value)
Max search Steps : 20 (max value)

I tried taking screenshots but the in game screenshot system doesnt actually capture the changes.

Here are some screenshots I took using print screen and manually importing to paint.

Some keyboards don't have a home button. Try openning your onscreen keyboard to remap the button

opened on screen keyboard but it doesnt have a home button
what is this stupid fk why do they default a button that not everybody has lol!

i also found a tutorial which says you can change the key in an .ini file but when i open this .ini it shows a completly different text than the tutorial shows...

Im using Tint now too. It makes the sky a bit less dark.
