I think yer timing is off a bit... It's 2 days and 20 hours from now. Noon CET on Saturday.

It could very well be off. I could have read wrong but I thought it launches at noon on Saturday eastern time. Which would be 11 a.m. Saturday morning where I live. In that case it would make it 3 days 1 hour and 40 minutes from now. But again I've only had one cup of coffee and that could very well be the biggest issue with all of this :-)

So it launches 5am where i live. So 2 days 19 hours ish.

Yeah I counted wrong..thought it was 5pm Central, not 5am Central...I'll miss all morning and part of the afternoon

The server opens at 11am (GMT) on Saturday. Assuming that I have converted the time zone correctly. CET = GMT + 1 hour.

At 11am GMT, it will be noon in Berlin/CET.

Man it's been quite a few months since I've played DAoC on that other server, but the nightmare grind it possessed has me so burnt out still I'm practically an ash pile from DAoC. Still looking forward to the new server launch, and I'll be signed on and playing some. Good job devs!

Leveling is almost...fun. This comes from a pvp/rvr person. Gear drops are abundant. Add to that a merchant and vault you can carry on your pack and life is good! Don't worry, it's nothing like that other free shard.

You can get them in the capital cities for something like 500g each and once placed on the ground anyone can interact with them.

Anyone can use your merchant when you pop it. So ONE pocket merchant per group works well.
The 50G version is a one time use merchant so... the first thing after popping one is to buy a new one from it! So, in essence you're never without merchant access.

Yeah Uthgard and in special Blue is / was very important for DAoC Freeshardscene and i am very thankfull for him.
He developed DOL with others and without Blue, no Freeshards in current state imho.
But sadly the Uthgard staff invited wrong persons into the staff and made bad goals for their server.
Tajendi was the best and very impressing custom area so far i´ve ever seen.

All the stoneage patchdogmatic killed Uthgard and ofc, their arrogance and hybris.
A upcoming freeshard destroys Uth1 and another upcoming freeshard destroy Uthgard2 in short or give them a serious competition.
But people will prefer the original and fact is: Without Phoenix Uthgard would not changed their settings.
Phoenix is what Uthgard could be.
Phoenix stand for innovations, Uthgard stands for patchcopy.

Those who not learning from the history are forced to repeat.

You need to have open communication with your players.

The customer may not always be right but they should always feel heard.

That being said, I feel that phoenix does listen, even to its more whiny players.

I'm looking forward to dying horribly in as many ways as possible and donating my rps in embarrassing ways soon.

I´ve had a good time on Uthgard 1 till patchdownrubish but Uthgard 2 is no longer an option for me, thanks Phoenix!

But i am very thankfully what Blue did for the DAoC freeshardcommunity and the work, time and passion which we got from Uthgard-staff.
Even the Uthstaff is a bunch of retards in my humble opinion.

Denmark, Germany, France, Italy etc are all in same time zone.
