Hotkey to auto queue attacks rule

Hey all,

Rule #5 states
5. Hotkeys to auto queue attacks or spells, or any other action which we determine as an unfair advantage to your character.
(It is allowed to bind multiple actions to a key, however, delays, repeats, and conditions are strictly forbidden, as well as any other action that allows unattended game-play)

Specifically on the part that says "It is allowed to bind multiple actions to a key," does this mean as a Skald I can create a hotkey that will activate both my dmg add and heal song AS LONG AS there is no delay between the two actions?

Allowed: Press Hotkey > Dmg Add activates > Heal Song is activated immediately after
Not Allowed: Press Hotkey > Dmg Add activates > Heal Song plays after 4 second delay
Allowed?: Press Hotkey > Every chant/shout/song I have is activated
Although the last one may not be the smartest hotkey bind for mana conservation purposes, it is a possible option.

Is this an accurate translation of rules? If not, what would be a scenario where a hotkey is bound to multiple actions that is allowed?
Just trying to get a better understanding of this rule

Thanks,

I believe that you are correct in each case.

i believe all your examples are correct. Another usefull use of this is to bind friendly/enemy spells onto the same key and then your target will "decide" the action

For example demezz and mezz on the same key is easy to remember and free's a key

Or weaponswitch + slam on one key. Without delay i think it doesn't ALWAYS work, but if you just spamm the key twice it will work like a charm

but there are several other useful uses

PS: you quoted a more detailed text of rules...is there another source for the server rules besides https://playphoenix.online/rules ?

How to set up enemy/friendly keys? I’m planning on making a shammy, and single target disease/cure disease on one key sounds awesome.

Well if disease is on c and cure disease on f12 you make a script to press c and f12 while pressing c

Right. The key press tries to cast both, but one will automatically fail. Thanks!

Hi,

I use this post for Another question

I can multibind the same key without delais ?

As exemple for minstrel, use C for launch ccccc for launch 5 Time « charmed » without délais just multibind the same bind

Not sure if i understand correctly, what would be the benefit of doing that? Wouldn't that cancel the charm again?

I believe you are allowed to do it, but why?

When you charme a mob oj or red you have some resist

With that you can try 3 Time instanly (the limite create by phoenix dev) to charme for 11 sec

ah okay, i see what you mean

I am not sure it would work like that though, since you are INSTANTLY doing all the charms at the same time. You are allowed to do so though.

Even if it works, wouldn't it break the charm though if it goes through before the last "try" and the next activation would release/end the charm again?

Not really because if only 1 charme Work the mob are charme for 11 sec as if you cancel and relaunch another charm

On thé live some minstrel use that for launch xxxxx charme on low Time for charme very High mob but on Phoenix your are limited at 3 by sec

ah okay, thanks for explaining, TIL

i don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to macro it like that. As long as you don't program delays / any automation you should be fine

Is this something you need an external program to do? Can you bind multiple actions to the same key with internal qbar command?
