Blunt or Blades for Hero? - Phoenix Freeshard

Making a shield Hero and I'm not interested in CS or LW. Which one do you recommend?

Pierce or blunt for after block stun

I would recommend Pierce because of the better damage tables against most tanks in the game, along with many of the support classes.

You will be at a disadvantage against the plate wearing classes (Armsman, Paladin) but your Shield styles (Slam etc.) will have a bonus to them damage-wise.
