What, in your opinion, is a "Phoenix Server" specific that all beginners should know?

I think there is a special command that lets you /switch weapons from pack?

Phoenix feathers and eggs?

Any special RA's ?

What should you do with your new i50 with free gear to improve your items? (If any)

I think the most important thing to tell Phoenix newbs is that unlike the live server, if you kill the developers characters you won't have your class nerfed into the ground.

If you need to be coddled, I'll use language that won't cause a rash. You can expect equitable treatment from the developers here on Phoenix as opposed to live. Now that I have time, here is the rest: Whencomes to /switch it's best to just log in and type /switch to see the options. Phoenix eggs are items you turn in whenever you see your trainer for extra xp. Feathers are to buy items after you've acquired raid credit for said items. RAs are class dependent and 1.65 RAs, for better or worse. The i50 gear puts you at max everything template-wise so there's nothing much or anything to add to it.

Was that drivel good enough for you?

That drivel was satisfactory. Thank you.

As I am coming to learn, hence my questions. I like that there are custom changes, classic Daoc was not perfect. Maybe we can get close here however, with a few tweaks!

You can train without going to the trainer. That, in my opinion, is huge when you are fighting your way through a dungeon.

That grouping here is beneficial, not just for survivability but also for earning XP. Grouping improves rather than penalizes XP gain, so you should do it often! Also, larger, more diverse groups are rewarded more, so invite everyone including the classes that aren't traditionally good party characters (stealthies, necros, etc.)

/Train is YHuuuuuge , has probably saved so much time and groups from splitting up it is the best thing I've seen them implement.
