Right now, Ichor of the deep is just an updated Druid insta ae root (more range). It doesn't provide any fight changing mechanic like Group purge or SoS does. Right now, the counter to GP is.. (there are none) and the counter to SoS is to not break the cc that's on them and wait till it ends...
We all know midguard has the worst of the three "prime" RAs with Ichor. It is still a good RA to use, but it's missing the extra edge to make it really good.
Personally I'm not a fan of nerfing everything into the ground until everything is grey and flavorless. However, I believe a buff to Ichor is needed.
What if Ichor ignored root immunity? Ideally it would ignore root immunity and reset root immunity, but the second part would be a little extreme. However, having Ichor ignore root immunity would be a nice counter to group purge. Hib groups would have to think more than 1.5 seconds before blowing GP, because they could get Ichor'd right after.
I think it isn't a game changing buff to Ichor that would bring its value above the druid insta ae root.
