Swoop, I would definitely suggest looking at things once Phoenix goes live. We don't know when that will be, but it would be a crime not to add another video of Minstrel tyranny to the annals of history.

Not 100% reliable pet mechanics

750 range on all instants.

Oom in seconds

Dont get me wrong, i also think mins is a really strong class. But evry class sounds op when you only count the boons.

how do i have a purple pet while stealthing?

and why do albgroups pick sorcs if minstrel can aoe mezz?

clerics are also just buffers, since minstrel can heal while running and clerics have to stop to cast?

Minstrels are a really strong class, i agree, but listing only benefits and presenting them in such a biased way does not foster a discussion worth having

It used to be possible on live (back in the day), so: Possible (spam charm, restealth, spam charm, restealth, ...). But it's gonna hurt (fingers, wrist, ...) so - not worth it and propably not practicable. And also not easy due to the current stealther limits (might not be able to restealth due to too many stealthers in RVR).

that you can have only one active chant makes petstrel a pain in the ass to play solo, also you have to specc 39 thrust specc if you want an ats debuff that leaves you without climbwalls if you want 50 instruments for best dd

also chant switching costs endurance on phönix, most annoying thing is that you cant have a pet and speed without twisting chants which gets really annoying (automatic macros are also not allowed and so arent buff bots so a petstrel isnt as strong as on live with a fully buffed pet without a cleric to duo)

Yes it is. As a Hib, I prefer to call the frontier "a target rich environment" rather than lament that the Hibs are under populated.

i full agree, i would love to play hib/underpopulated realm, but it is a fact that emain is the hotspot most of the time, and therefor hibernia will on average have longer traveltimes (which is probably also the main reason for the underpopulation nowadays...hib has really strong characterclasses)

That is the only part that sucks about the target rich environment.... the long run to the targets. The developers should put in keep porters for home realm defense only.

There will be a lot of 8 man fighting in breif though. Right in between the three realms. At the moment its just the i 50 sickness
