Blockrate vs Archer - Phoenix Freeshard

I play a Thane, RR6 and tested with master of block 9, and shield spec 42. In my opinion I should block against arrows at least 40% but I do not. By far not.

I almost never block against archers. that must be a bug. can you explain if it is a bug or if it is different calculated ?

Switch to a large shield (the only time you ever need a large shield is vs archers). And just face/engage on inc and use your insta dds to rupt

Yes you do. Even with MoB 9 you do not reach cap block but with engage you do.

Also what shield are you wearing? Is it small or medium? Shield size has an effect on your % block vs. Achers.

I wear medium shield and enchanted. I am complete templated.

from 10 arrows i block 1 !
If i guard someone i block about 50% for the other player. but not for me.

He's a thane, so he's stuck using med shields at this patch base.
