Add a /style command to remove the necessity for AHK

From my cursory and ignorant glance at the DOLSharp code, it seems style queuing is maintained server side, not client side.

As such, it would seem possible to add a custom command such as /style, which would remove much of the need for people to use AHK as an advantage over those who choose not to use AHK.

The syntax could be something like:

/style frostygaze comeback drawout

In which it would try to perform those styles in that precedence (much like an AHK would have each style on a bar and try the 2nd style chain, followed by 1st, followed by anytimer).

This could also be done for /buff beyond buff classes, for things like a savage self buff, or skald resist chants (a generic /spell <spell1> <spell2> etc.).

Any reason this couldn't be added?

You can't queue more than two styles afaik.
So the command would be
/style frostygaze comeback

you can only queue 2styles, but you can input more than that and the imposible ones (because pre-styles haven't been met will get ditched)
That is what people do with AHK, and that is what OP wants to be able to do via /command

Impossible either way:
Queue sidestyle, backstyle, anytimer (and the game will do the backstyle if you are behind, sidestyle at side, and anytime otherwise)...that doesn't work, even with AHK

What is possible currently though is to input: sidestyle follow up, side-style, anytimer...if you have not done the sidestyle before, the input of the followup will just be ignored by the game, and you will queue sidestyle (if you are at side) otherwise anytimer.

The last mechanic can be used to bind 2 full stylechains onto one button via AHK

Yup, its particularly beneficial for 2 chain evade stuns, where the evade graphic does not always display clearly on the client side (if you get hit while evade animation plays, it stops early).

So, for instance, on my hunter atm I will strum 3 keys in a row like a guitar, "4 3 2", where 4 = Niord's Fury (pre-req Frost Cut), 3 = Frost Cut (pre-req Evade), and 2 = Draw Out (anytimer).

AHK get the benefit of pushing a single key over and over to do this (till their stun lands). I would like non-AHK users to have a similar convenience.

As mentioned by previous poster, it is not queuing up more than 2, it simply discards the "4" press until the pre-requisite style has been met.

‘As such, it would seem possible to add a custom command such as /style, which would remove much of the need for people to use AHK as an advantage over those who choose not to use AHK. ‘

Key point here. Just use AHK and let the devs focus elsewhere.
