This would only benefit casuals, but this event is for the premade core elite and they already made their toons max level and max rr for the event and need new fodder at the next one. So i doubt this is planned.
Spiteful and illogical...a common combo
Premades Level faster and are in the highest bracket within hours, they would actually benefit from casuals having their higher chars parked inside.
That said i would also like to be able to Park rooms there and "Finish" them in a later Event. I will Not start any rooms from RR1 in the frontiers anymore, the early RRprogress is just tooooo boring. So i would Love to have chars there and would also start more chars in the Event (as they aren't delete-fodder afterwards unless i managed to get them to at least RR4/50. I managed to get a Shaman to RR5 today, and have then immediatly lost all interest.
Even If the Event ist extended, my playtime wouldn't allow me to get another char maxed. I could manage to fit in 30-60minutes every evening, as it is fun, but what for If the char is then at lv30 and will never be played again (it is fun but not THAT much fun after already playing for 15hours recently)
That said, there are downsides to consider, personally i don't think they outweigh but here we go:
-instead of taking chars into RvR after the Event they are left there. Goal to get more newnchars into the frontiers would diminish
-if getting you char guaranteed "finished" to RR5 there, then traditional levelling would be Hurt (and lower RR chars themselves would be accepted in frontiers even less)
-people would leave their chars there even after the Event to farm RPs....even without the Bonus it is a good Farm. Even with a Cap (is it really 5L5 i only Heard that the RP Bonus stops at 5l0) there would be much more "high-RRs in the last bracket
