Hey, i came up with an idea to improve the /gvg and /fair list for 8men, smallmen and solos.
Even for 8men it is sometimes hard to find the other groups on the list, especially in zones like Ellan Vannin. For smallmen outside the middle zones (penninne etc) it is also difficult and for solos it is often impossible in most zones.
Here is my suggestion:
All groups/players on the /list will be shown with a more precise location and the direction in which they are moving.
Example: Jukaron's 8man is in Ellan Vannin Southeast, moving North
Example2: Jukaron is in Emain Macha, at Dun Crauchon East Bridge, not moving
Example3: Jukaron is in Hadrian's Wall, close to the Flag at Caer Erasleigh Outpost moving Southwest
Example4: Jukaron's 4man is in Penninne Mountains, in the Maze, moving East
Those Examples are ideas, ofc they have to be codeable by the DEVs.
I would be especially interested in feedback by the Phoenix team.
I discussed this idea with many people and did find broad positive feedback.
Remember, if you don't wanna put yourself findable you can simply stay off the list - the lists are intended to make it so people/groups can find one another.

/gvg toggle = your 8man is on the list /gvg list = you see all 8men on the list /gvg cleanfight = after a clean fight each member of both groups get 1k RPs
/fair toggle = your smallman is on the list /fair list = you see all smallmen with +/-1 member of your own groupsize on the list
/fair toggle = you are on the solo list /fair list = you can see all other solos on the list

No matter if you're a soloer, like 8v8, 8roam, small, zerg or pve. DaoC is a small community - best we stick together and make the Phoenix server as enjoyable as we can for everyone.
