Switch to NEW Thidranki - Phoenix Freeshard

First of all.. Hi from my side.
I'm a player who mostly plays and enjoys the lvl 20-24 BG experience.
Currently we got Molvik as BG Map instead of the old Thidranki map.
The Problem with Molvik is.. it's basically dead. The map is way to large for the
amouth of players playing on it.
The old Thidranki map, that was there before Thidranki was switched to Molvik has
it's flaws aswell. One important issue with the Thidranki map we had before, is that
Albion has a way shorter way to the Central Keep than the other 2 Realms and that the
Terrain in generall gives advantages to Albion.
Theres actually a different Thidranki map, where this issue was already solved by adding a 4th island.
and changing the Map a little.

Personally I think the newer Thidranki-Map with 4 islands would actually be the best to play on.
Since everyone thinks different... and since there will be a vote between Molvik and Thidranki..
my question is, if it's possible to add the "newer" Thidranki map in the vote?

I think the "new" thidranki version looks great. I would love to see this map added.

Molvik was a complete failure really. big massive map, no action at all.

Bring back a balanced thid!

I support the new map, but i also think Molvik was ok until the event. Seems like it didnt recover after.

Please activate this "new" Thidranki map design for 20-24!

Sadly the population doesn't fit the Molvik map, it is mostly empty and even with 2-4 participants per realm they will miss each other and log. Additionally the oil of towers/keeps is way to strong for that level range.

I don't really play Thidranki, but the newer Thidranki map is the best. Plenty of space, no annoying mobs in places.. decent bridge fights.

Great idea, as a player who mostly plays 20-24 BG on weekdays and on weekends run with a zerg with a lvl 50 i just quit because of the BG change. I logged in to check the status for a week or two then just gave up.

I am curious how the voting ended on this, i think missed it. It seems like they had a plan with follow ups, lowering guards, CK reset, etc, did that ever happen?

Yeah: "For the next few days, we will test multiple things for this map. As it is a NF map and therefore has NF towers and keep, we will test different options" - "We will test this during the next few days. After that we will do a voting if you want to keep the old Thid map or the new Molvik map."

They probably just switched and forgot about it. Can we atleast switch back?

Uthred, I have not played Phoenix since the PvE event after the Molvik switch. It killed the BG. It killed my Phoenix! Now I'm playing competitive Tetris. I'd really like to be playing an armsman again or my melee enchanter. I don't even like Tetris. I like Thidranki. When can I expect the patch notes? Christmas is coming and please, I am once again asking you for your Thidranki change.

Given than we've received some nice qol in the last 6 months, appreciate the gesture of devs even looking into battlegrounds at all.

But to be completely frank, at no point between feb and july did I hear anyone ask for molvik to replace thid. And if someone actually did, I'm sad it gained traction from the devs. It baffles me that sanity checks, like the fact that you can't obtain Climb Walls at 24, seems to have been carelessly skipped.

I'd really like a reason to come back.
