Fix LA please? - Phoenix Freeshard

Why have LA style been gutted so badly? The damage is not anywhere near what it was during this 'era' and LA gets the worst of all the realm's. Since Critical Strike is the same for all 3 realms not figuring it into anything here either.

Albs get 2.5 spec points? Why hasnt this been changed to 2.2 here? They also get 9s stun on Dragonfang, .90 GR, if spec'd 50 Thrust. If they go 50 Slash then they get Diamond slash, .90GR. It hits HARD and has a huge To Hit bonus and no def penalty. Again going Saracen they are hitting 293 Dex and 191qui so descent defense/damage. In DW they also get a 2 part side chain with a 34% ASR with .85 and 1.05GR's.

HIbs also only get 2.2 spec points. They get a 4s side stun that leads into a 3 style combo with 34% ASR if the third one lands. .68, .88 and .90 GR's respectively. Luri shades have close to 300dex and 210qui without RA's they are good on swing speed/defense and descent damage.

Mids get 2.2 spec points. So LA gets a anytimer with a .75GR. Frosty Gaze and Comeback are good with .94 and 1.0 GR's. 39 Axe does give a descent Side Style 34% ASR but with only 2.2 spec points you cant get FrostyGaze/COmeback and 39 Axe. Average Norse will be around 253Str and 191Qui. No Side Stun, minimum 40 less dex then Hib/Alb so lower defense. O yeah no Dex/Qui poison Debuff either.

Can someone point out what I am missing here? Or is it simple Mid Bias/Prejudice? Doesnt seem to need much playtime to see whats going on here and how bad LA spec line is compared to others. LA needs a small damage increase or some utility added to stay competitive.

No infiltrator goes full weapon on Phoenix, and if they do they underperform compared to those who don't.

It is easy to point out what you are missing.

LA Mainhand base damage has been buffed from 62.5 to 77.3%. The 3 part Backchain has the same growth Rate has Berserker even though SB should have less. SB's also get the DD cold proc on Aurora Borealis (50 LA) which they didn't have.

Playing SB since Beta on this server I can say LA is by far my favorit. 50 DW used to be good but the bleeding for Infs have been nerfed and the damage from CD styles for NS is crap. No good anytimer and they do not get the same growth Rate on their chain like BM have.

Edit: You are talking about a 2 part side chain with 34% asr on Inf. SB's get that with 39 in axe on first hit with a medium to hit bonus while Inf first side attack has 0 to hit.

Lmao, to have the 34asr debuff you need 44 dual and you need to be 12L for that.
Yes NS has better dex and qui, but I still evade less than SB and Inf because of less WS (2% less)
This post is full of mistakes and misconceptions. Yarna already replied to most.
SB is the best asn at rr8 and above.

the changes to LA have not been an actual buff since the left hand dmg was lowered. yes sure in combination both weapons do a little more dmg now but with the switch to NF RAs dualist reflexes got removed so there is noch chance to increase dmg further if you go 50 LA. on the other hand dw/cd got their left hand swing chance increased by around 9% which is like DR3.

old dmg both hands: 125.6% at spec 1
new dmg both hands: 130.1% at spec 1

old swing chance dw/cd: 59% at spec 50 without equipment and RR
new swing chance dw/cd: 68% at spec 50 without equipment and RR

still SBs outperform the other sins at rr6+
