Sub rr5 rps stimulus package - Phoenix Freeshard

Y'all need to boost the rps given to players sub rr5, its ridiculous one can get rr 4 by lvl 45 in events but it takes 2+ weeks if not more solo, to hit rr5. Level the playing field and give some serious bonus rps to sub rr5 players.

All-night I'm out here on my rank 2 fighting people rank 8+ on a tank and stand 0 chance of winning because of rank. The event was **no politics pls, edited by Uthred** but lets be real, we need a rp boost to at least afford us some RA skills to be somewhat effective.

I agree with op.
2days in event you hit RR5 easily.
This should be mimicked in fz.
There are so many very high ranking players out there new players(or casuals) are at a massive disadvantage.
What would it hurt if the rp’s were even x10 or x20 until RR5?
It’s just bring the disparity to a smaller level and more enjoyment for all....except those that want easy encounters with there high ranked toons

Hell I’d be okay even if it was RR2 awarded at level 20, RR3 at 30 etc ...where you are RR5 when hitting 50

i don't disagree with an even bigger boost for low RRs (though they already get boosted free RPs for tasks, don't forget that) but this seems disingenious:

If you need rank, you can go in the Zerg for one or two evening, and you will need rr4 in no time. Next!

rr4 is good enough for the basics. And you will get it withing maybe 1 week in the zerg. often less. U can even run a small man with low rr and add in larger fights for the rps.
it gives wp 5 and mom 5 for the casters and purge 1.
it gives det9 for tanks.
Or SoS 2+ moc 1 and a littlte cast speed for CC-chars.

In the end a high rr helps but is minor to play-skill. a good low rr wins over a bad high rr (some 1v1 combinations may be an exception).

Anyway, recently albion has been running flag tasking a lot.. so /shrug

It's everyday on the task EU prime time. Yesterday we got steam rolled on EV by Maxistoo, like every day.

If you are not brand new starting, I would not level any toon anymore outside of the proving ground event. It's just a waste of time. do ds and stuff instead so you are ready with temps for your new rr5 chars after the event.
I would also vouch for none event rp boost until rank 5-6 since otherwise your punished for leveling the classic way.

Most people aren't willing to sit around and wait for an event that may or may not happen in the hopes of playing a class they don't already have.
