[QoL] Let us /release to portal keeps please

Hey,

when fighting in foreign frontiers, we are punished with 2 loading screens upon death. IMHO that does not help anyone.

Can we please spawn in the according portal keeps upon /release?

Also, would it be possible to implement something like a "/release task" command? That should put you in the portal keep of the frontiers where the short-term tasks are currently in.

Sounds like a way to blood port around the map. I vote no.

Get task to protect Dun Bolg.
Port to Emain.
Die to stealther or mobs before reaching the mile gate.
Respawn further from the mile gate, in another zone, quicker than it would take to run there.

I mean, if you die, you type /release. You see a loading screen. You end up in your home keep. You click the healer. You click the teleporter, click [Hibernia]/[Albion]/[Midgard] and see a loading screen again.

I am only talking about skipping those 2 loading screens and the teleporter dialog.

Are you saying like if you are a hib and you die in hadrians wall, that instead of respawning in Drum Ligen that you would respawn at Hib Player keep in hadrians?

I think I misunderstood? I thought you wanted to like release and respawn at any hib controlled keep in the frontiers, which I totally disagree with.

Yes, this is what I mean. If you are Hib and die in Alb FZ or Mid FZ, you should end up in Hibernia Teleport Keep (HTK) aka Hibernia Portal Keep (HPK) instead of Druim Ligen.

Also, if the task switches, and you die, you will have the same situation with 2 loading screens. Hence the idea with "/release task", so you can again skip Druim Ligen and spawn to the HPK=HTK in the according task zone. That way you only see 1 loading screen. If the task zone is Hib, you would of course end up in Druim Ligen (or your respective bind spot).

Alternatively, add [Hibernia] / [Albion] / [Midgard] options to the teleporters in foreign frontiers. That would basically do the same as "/release task"

He said the portal keeps I don't get the mass confusion spell cast on everyone here. Each realm has 2 portal keeps we can probably all name, some call them border keeps, but portal implies porting, which the teleporter will list like Drium Cain and Drium Ligen, not like Caer Benowyc or Drium Crauchon.

We were thinking border keeps and that the op wanted to teleport to guild held keeps.

I am just talking about eliminating 1-2 loading screens, depending if a task just switched or if you simply died during the same task.

I am talking about what people also call ATK / HTK / MTK or APK / HPK / MPK.

I am NOT talking about Caer Benowyc, Dun Crauchon, Bledmeer Faste.

I am astonished by the lack of attention while reading as well as the lack of brain processing the read information combined with a lack of imagination among users of this forum.

Its made that way to force a kind of space, even with ports its fast. Get a ssd. With rez sick reduction r.a. i could see it being a potential problem but it could also reduce server stress. I do get what you are saying but you wont get what you want with a personal plee or in you're case a personal attacks. For you to assume people cant understand what you are saying is just a hint at you're personal perspective.
