(all realms) Implement quest for archers to become an assasin of their realm (class respecc)

As I see somehow the need to fix the rangers, the fix was in my opinion poor as the damage reduce affects solo rangers/scouts with low RR more then the professional team playing archers and/or archers with high realmrank. A damage reduce when target has been hit by multiple archers had been the better choice imo, as the pure solo bow damage isn ´t that high and gamebreaking itself.

That being said, the offered skill respecc is kinda worthless and not enough imo, but the intention from this whole nerf is clear to make the rangers specc more melee and skip bow, to solve the ranged archer problem, or make it a less game impact/problem due less players play these classes.

But there is no point to make ranger or scout a melee toon as nightshades and Infiltrators do by far the better job in it.

As re-education never worked in daoc (uthgard with their "visions" should have been a warning) I suggest to give archer classes of all realms at least a quest to class respec into their realms assasin class (no reverse and can ´t be undone*) you help these players with their decission, as you soften the nerf on the other hand and give these players a choice. You will maybe see less archers and more assasins in the future (dunno if that ´s better and not just creating a new problem, but the bow range thing becomes maybe less annoying).

* As there will be maybe more changes in stealther classes in future, there might be a consideration to allow all stealthers to switch their classes into another stealther class of their realm without a restriction and as often they like.

Give Remedy to archers, makes them more viable in solo melee specs.

ROFL you know how easy it is to get 11L as an archer in the BG?
A lot of people would reroll archer and then switch to asn.

i dont know what all the "i quit archer now because of nerf" thing is about....
yesterday i got added again by bowharry with infight crit shot 7xx and normal shot hitting for about 450..... was there a nerf at all?

getting RR is always "easy" it just takes horrendous amounts of time
"easy" as in "only" sticking the BG for 500-1000hours

I agree though that class respeccs probably are a bad idea, and probably won't happen.
If it happens i would expect the switches to allow switching to groupbased toons, not stealthers

Otherwise just roll one, everything is easy to level/template round here.

Nope, you can't compare with archers. You can't add on sight, and you don't have the possibiliy to go in the bg assist train. Also, volley, even if nerfed, makes your task bonus huge.

I totally agree (i have a scout and a hunter i solo with). None of the 3 archers is strong solo, they all could have stayed at the pre nerf balance. A assist penalty would been the way to go. Or a solo dmg bonus that could now be implemented.

Imo the right solution is more content for more, especially non-stealth solo classes. - If there is only stealthers balancing archer vs assassin (their natural counter) is impossible and counter intuitive. - If there is content for visible solo classes the natural rock paper scissor balance of DaoC works (for the most part).
