Realistic DAOC Server - Phoenix Freeshard

What if...

There was a Realistic DAOC Server that disabled all spells and stealth.

Support classes would build up defenses and siege weapons.

All healing would be done outside of combat and in safe zones. Done by classes like Surgeons and Apothecaries.

"Buffs" could be applied by Shamans and Witchdoctors, who gave you drugs and whatnot.

Dino for some people DAoC is real life so they aren't going to understand your idea... I think it would be fun style of play but might get boring quickly though.. Unless you could implement some sort of extra strategy to it.

Also if you want to involve drugs I don't think the staff here would approve. I don't know if you played SWG(starwars galaxies) but that had a drug system. After the drugs wore off you'd have negative effects which would be cool to see in your idea.

Hahaha. And when u hit someone once they are fatally wounded and die. Let’s be honest, even if you had chain armour and someone hit you in the back with a 2h hammer you’d probably be in a wheel chair or dead.

And the only races are Briton, Highlander, Norseman and Celt, coz everything else ain’t realistic either

My cousin used to be one of those backyard wrestlers and wore a chainmail shirt. His signature move was to spin around like a helicopter and let the sleeves wail on people.

One time one of the rings on the sleeve got caught in a girl's hair as he was doing the move and someone came up and hit him in the back with a folding chair.

Both went down harder than a ton of bricks.

Ruined my faith in chainmail armor.
