I just goofed around with my mentalism mentalist and I'm having a lot of fun. This made me think.
Wouldn't it be nice to found a guild that is dedicated exclusively to odd spec characters? With odd spec I mean builds that are usually rejected from RvR groups:
- Mentalism Mentalists
- Mana Mentalists
- Heal bards
- Battle bards
- Void Eldritches
- Enchantment Enchanters
- Melee Wardens
- Animists
- Nightshades and Rangers without any point into stealth
- Pure Sword&Board melees
- ... etc.
The positive effect of this would be to get to know like-minded persons who enjoy doing something special beyond meta RvR. We could build groups together without having to explain ourselves all the time / getting told to respec asap, etc.
Also, if the guild would actually be named "odd spec" or something like that, people from other guilds would know what they have to expect if they invite one of our characters. Maybe that would reduce frustration even in random PUG scenarios.
IMHO, it would not be necessary to leave the main guild. It is fine if people just put their little special snowflake into that new odd spec guild.
Please leave a message here or PM me in case you are interested. I'm curious, so don't forget to add your build
As soon as Phoenix gets released, I suggest making level 50 and a finished template a requirement to join the guild, so the ranks don't get littered by toons that get created once and are never touched again ^^
What are your thoughts?
