SB Soulblade spec - Phoenix Freeshard

Any SBs tried this spec at this patch level? I remember it from many years back but can't remember if it was viable. Basically it is very low or no envenom for more more melee

Yes it's viable and works. Debuff/Dots are weaker and resists rates are higher but its ok and doable. Just make sure you have enough weapons for resists.

High DW slash inf is fun, good dmg. But you really feel the lack of a stun. I've gone back to thrust, but I'm playing 50 thrust 50 cs atm and dmg seems pretty sick. Had to lower envenom a fair bit but haven't really noticed it making much diff

I'm just worried about a lower WS/con debuff gimping me vs someone that runs a higher one. Maybe it's not a huge difference. I guess I'll test that out also.

Hopefully they will change the 15thrust 6s after Block style to after evade. Ofc you have 3s less stun but many points left as you do not have to go all the way up to 50thrust

its with the yellow debuff but you can compensate that by using the tg skald 1h sword, it hast a str/con debuff and it stacks.... that is actually verry powerful
