Line of Sight "Fixed" the wrong problem

We all know that Animist shrooms is kinda meh right now. Specially those (who still) play Animist.
People said the turrets could get target through doors and kill people. I have talked to alot of people about this and the conclusion is that people got hit by the Verdant PBaoe wich is now (in my opinion) Correctly nerfed. Cause that was bull****.

However turrets got a 2nd LOS check now, basicly making them useless really... REALLY! While other pets can just roam through gates, stunlock, get healed and what not (also they can move) While Ani shrooms sit there like a duck. Waiting, Thinking what to do, How to cast spells.

Was this thought trough or just quick-fixed cause people whined?

Animist OP
Bugged shrooms
Bard amnesia OP
Rangers OP because pf line
Volley dmg too hard
And so on ....

So many nerf hit animist , bard amnesia range was nerfed also ... volley was nerfed and now Ita almost useless ... all nerf on Hib was hard.

Meanwhile necro can still use all their class bugs... per not visibile hiding in the walls (i.e. necro immortal) necro wandering safe in shade in keep/tower placing gtaoe free with the per out between their comrades and clerics... etc etc

Ministrels can still charm Red barguest and ellyl pets...
Eaeth wizzy debuff his own damage line etc etc ...

Yeah other realms have such OP things going on but they arent adressed while Hibs getting smashed quite hard... i really dont get it...
The amount of Wizards and Necros pulling perfect GTAOE's makes them extremely powerful. Abusing sending pets everywhere etc. Hibs pets are useless in comparison.
The shrooms are strong in situations, but easy to outplay them if you know what you are doing really...

The Animist have to invest a full power bar if not more to make a deadly dose of shrooms. Wich is quite requiring for the Ani... Now you can do that, but they are just useless so its a waste of power really

This was adressed many times already, devs won't make animists enjoyable to play again - get over it.

Hence my post. They fixed a problem that wasnt there to start with im 99% Sure of. Its just people thinking that they were hit by hearts but in fact it was pbaoe (wich was broken)

Turrets are still far better defensive pets than what others have, which I think is the intention since they don't move.

I can't say if they need a boost somewhere (perhaps in the area limit?), but this doesn't seem like it.

(And the whines about how nerfed Hibs are are a little tone-deaf considering Hibs typically hold 5 relics for months on end. I find it hard to believe that that's 100% due to having so many exceptional players that they're consistently dominating despite of being unfairly nerfed.)

Animist players that constantly abused the class mechanics for months, are the reason it's in this position right now.
I doubt you'll get much sympathy from players in other realms.

Heck, it was PK's (and many 8mans) rp farm bot and sole reason for 95% of their push towards rr12 toons during OF, until the tangler root was fixed. Then they started running smallman before quitting.

Neso But Animists arent broken? Its just that people cant seem to fight a stationary pet for some reason... i guess their interrupts buttons are broken?

1. Noone reached rr12 in OF
2. PK Almost never used Animist in their setup in NF
3. Does ANY realm give sympathy for other realms? i think not...

With all unfairness that is in this game i really really really dont get it why Earth Wiz are so incredibly strong, every good spell in the game in ONE line. Cabalists have superstrong pets that can be healed through walls and stunlocks people to death inside a keep. Necromancers doing all the fancy schmansy things they do, unrealistcly OP.

But handle a static turret? OH NO! Noone can do that... I honestly almost never have any problem with animist turrets when i play another realm so i really dont get it. But all i hear when playing Alb f.ex is WHINE. "OMG Animists so OP!"

Just check how many playing Animists Activly in RVR at level 50. Almost noone, because the turrets are useless and for any regular group there are better classes for the job (Eldritch/Enchanter/Mentalist)

The only thing that was really wrong with animists was the ability to put shrooms on top of walls while standing outside (i agree that is bullcrap) Also the Pbaoe through walls and doors (Wich was more or less a bad coding issue that people exploited, JUST AS people did in OF with regular Pbaoe, noone cried then..)
