What about trying to play with New RA

I think that the old RA are too much iwin button with long timer. So basically the group that dump the most is likely to win and i also feel that mid maybe a bit in disadvantage cause of that.

I think New RA adressed this problem with nerfing most of active RA (sos, moc....) and/or forcing higher realm point investemement to get it at barely same potential (30 ponts instead of 10/14 )

I think the beta should be a great opportunity to test this

It is the same under new ra´s, if you can dump (significant) more, you win. Only difference is that you can dump your green panicbuttons more often. And for example charge under new ra without all the other toa+ stuff is not that great also. Different setting, same problems.

I had no problem with the RA and RR changes in NF, but it removed class and realm differences that I so much love and loved about daoc. Giving every realm access to SoS, AM and Ichor as well as removing group purge is just streamlining to try to make groups equal. Mids is the only realm with a disadvantage in terms of RA use, but in return they got more PF users which in my opinion evens it out.

I don't want to see new RA's, but I wouldn't mind it if they'd put RR5 requirement to invest in them tbh. It would give mids a very high advantage for low RR's but in return both alb and hib groups would scale harder for later.

I think you completely forget that moc is 75% instead of 100% (and you will be oom before the end of the 30s), SOS cancel when attack and do not allow you to move if cced, purge group is Gone, Melody is nerfed aswell.

New RA also bring love to friar giving them TS

So yes you can dump more often but the impact is loweree and you cant have so many active with the same realm points (purge +moc = 60pnts vs 20pnts today)

Why jump ship to new RA system before AT LEAST attempting to balance the iWin RA's, its what Mythic should have done instead of ToA/NF anyway (IMO)... my suggestions are as follows:

1. SoS changed to NF format where it breaks on offensive combat -- [alternative change to 15 sec duration]
-- Lowers the oppressive feel of the ability yet still gives the same raw power of a free re-position/escape.
2. GP changed to target+self purge -- [alternative massively decrease range and remove purge of pets]
-- Also lowers the oppressive feel of this ability yet it would still be a must pick for anyone with a brain
3. Ichor changed to 30min recast timer
4. AM changed to lower duration of 15 seconds -- [alternative lower the heal delve or make it not work on bard (think it does atm)]
5. BoF - not sure this is in a bad place personally but you could reduce the duration without having large impact if people think its bad.

There any other RA's that get constantly bitched about? Maybe ST if thanes were garbage tier.

These would be solid changes.

I also agree with this, my point IS that the beta should be an opportunity to test different "meta" , we already have played alot old RA and alot of players agree that smthg need to be done so let s do experience.

Now i realize that it might be alot of work for the Phoenix team to implement such changes. Might be interesting to know if they plan to do such tests or if the beta IS just about finding bugs.

New ra's are a tried and true solution. I don't trust any of the staff on this server to handle balancing old ra's properly.
