Rumor has it that albs and mids worked together and attacked hib with the goal to take all relics.
True or not, That is totally fine in my opinion.
Thats the reason why DAOC was designed as a 3 realm game in the first place.

This is my one complaint about the shard. There is ZERO incentive from the devs to inspire realm pride. I hate that and have accepted that as much as I love the concept of 3-realm RvR that this is not that. It's the same folks just logging their other 50s. Last night one guildmate stated how his ranger has a certain bow and how awesome that is when he gets kills. I'm on Alb.
Thankfully there's a few interesting mmorpgs (for once) coming down the pipeline. Holding out until then (NOT Camelot Unchained, the vaporware scam).
Sucks and this server will not change. But, that's their choice. It's their project, not mine.

It is not limited on forum, but also happening ingame on every realm.
There are certain "patriots" who likes to slander people and they are acting like a politician rather than a gamer. lol
Playing in only one realm is rather best idea to be nearsighted and to lose sense of balance of this game.

I miss the old Guinevere/Percival/Nimue days when folks really were proud of their realms through the ups and downs, instead of just, "Hey, it's Wednesday, we run our Hib guild every other...."
Every mmorpg out there has ignored any sense of a realm or factional pride system. DAoC to me, as old and forgotten by the industry as it is, was the one game where you could identify a faction by its race/armor/spell effects, and so forth. There really is an Us vs Them vs Them feel, not the ever so popular 2 teams on a field, same play book and two different colored uniforms approach to mmo pvp.
There's a reason why some of the most successful epic movies and novels display truly different factions or realms. Star Trek has the Federation (founded by the Vulcans), but there is a distinct difference between say, the Klingon Empire, and the Romulan Empire.
Star Wars would be absolute turd if there wasn't a clear distinction between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, as well as the scattering of mercenary groups in between.
Lord of the Rings has a straight up good vs evil cultural approach, and you would NEVER see the book heroes stopping on a Wednesday to roll with Saruman's Orcs (unless they were in chains).
But, here we are in an aged game that has been further modified by a handful of fans for a free emulator. What made DAoC special (whether the first person shooter fans admit it or not) is its realm variation. Turning Dark Age into an E-sport is the end result. That's too bad.
Again, it's their playground, not mine. But, I do recall the golden days of this title. And they were great.

@Glidar: I may not be in the lobby of Bg leader (I'll leave that to you) but in the situation described I cannot see any conspiracy, if not exploiting a favorable situation in that lapse of time by pushing together with 1 of the enemy in order to get to the target.
Then if some secret pact will come out who cares, is somehow part of the game and how you can see these stuff does not last long risking to creating issue or undermining the fun in RvR.
I would say to chill out that even if the situation did not change much I can see some difference (in positive) in Midgard and personally I'm having more fun now, hope someone else feels the same (I don't know it must be the RM RC used in zerg that gives me serotonin).

Not sure what happened to Gilboom's BG last night, but sometimes BG leaders just move for fights/rps than relics.

And moreover, mids retrieved their relics from hurb and bold at the end.

None at all ...
All play for Rps, its a part of the game ... but someone play ALSO for Rps and someone ONLY for Rps ..... thats why all mids stick fg to flags

Not sure what happened to Gilboom's BG last night, but sometimes BG leaders just move for fights/rps than relics.
I don't understand why all the other players have to think as you expect.
And moreover, mids retrieved their relics from hurb and bold at the end.
What's the problem?
None at all ...
All play for Rps, its a part of the game ... but someone play ALSO for Rps and someone ONLY for Rps ..... thats why all mids stick fg to flags

They actually wiped alb BG multiple times "That day".

Strategy? You are not interested into it.
You just wish they don't focus on Hib BG by spreading your paranoid theory, so that you can farm more rps as you could do when you had 6 relics.
And you know what is more funny?
This comes from a Hib pov.
I have been lately playing hib for a few days after Hib's 6-relic-dominance has broken and I make 10k+/hour rps whenever I join Hib BG.
So your whining is just useless and has no point.
Hib BG is still doing good and win lots of fights.
It is just that Hib doesn't win all the time as they did with 6 relics, and that is very natural thing even if you try to deny it.

You have some serious problem reading ....
1) i dont whine at all ... i play every day in Hib BG and do a lot of Rps... as also you say ... i dont care if we dont win any fight... i have fun fighting .
2) i simply ask the reason for the Mid "strategy " ... you can believe or not ... doesnt matter for me
3) i got the answer ... mid play first for RPS and dont care much about relics ... they also dont defend ...
4) mid hate Hibs and attack Hib BG when possibile... it is ok i know now no problem at all
5) i dont whine about pact Mids do with Polemo ... it is a fact ... i believe is a GREAT mistake but i have fin defending and Killing 4 times alb BG ... no matter for me if Mid take relic .. Mids dont defend and lost relic just the day after ... but i gain a lot of RP Killing albs
