The old and superior NF RvR System

I do not understand why we use a very recent broadsword live server implemented system.

Older NF rvr system had player spawns at the border keep, relic towns were completely irrelevant, relic keeps had temple guards and there was a pedestal that lowered over time while enemies were in the temple.

Current system allows for instant reinforcement just by running 2000 units from invincible spawn...people can grief by sos and pick up relic and have it stood in relic town for 2 hours with easy recovery, before an attacking force even leaves the final keep they just took to open the gate. There are many flaws with broadsword's live system that we use. The older system was much better. This was used from NF's inception on live until around 2012 or so when Broadsword took over.

SUGGESTION: At least change spawn to border keep, remove town teleport, add guards to temple...Keep it so that you still have enemy relics held in normal keeps. At a minimum. Extra features like both gates opening and relic pedestals should be considered if possible but I understand that would be harder to implement for dev as both should be implemented to supplement each other from a balance standpoint.

Also consider that you shouldn't be able to pick up an enemy relic without having your own in it's temple. (as it's always been on live), and allow enemy porting to bottom beachhead if held as hlid, surs, behnn are locked at the moment making fun events like the 'Briefine' triangle rvr impossible.

I think the relic reset timer should be looked at, so some salty BG leader who kept losing doesnt SOS past 100 enemies to reset the relic for 2 hours so the attacking realm cant try for it. Seems like the most flawed part of the system

yeah that was lame, made me to an entire write up for a complete system revamp current system is kinda archaic regardless though. EA Broadsword's live baseline with a lot missing.
