Remove some of the Race-Class restrictions?

I would prefer no race-class restrictions so that I'm free to make my gimp as gimpy as possible. However, since that's probably never going to happen...

What are the chances on removing some of the race-class restrictions?

Nah sadly not a good idea, unless you want 8man lurican groups hiding in bushes and preying on the unsuspecting trolls.

Busting it wide open would be a mistake, but some race/class combos are harmless. Doubt anyone would care about valkyn thanes for example.

I understand people are afraid of busting it wide open due to the fear of a Lurikeen army. Champs and Heros can be Lurikeens right now, so maybe the fear is the Lurikeen Druid or Blademaster? The Elf BM is already possible and only has 5 less DEX and QUI.

Inconnu and Valkyns seem to be under-represented, so opening up some classes for them wouldn't hurt balance much, if at all.

What about Elf Druids, or Troll Spiritmasters, or Inconnu Wizards? (The Half-Ogre Wizard is possible right now.)

This is one of those posts that the devs have explained and answered so many times. Just do a search and you'll find the reasoning.

I would dearly love the race/class combos that were later implemented in Live and can still be selected with the client we're using last I checked (though they silently fail to create). Such as Celt nightshades and Elf animists.
