Are these permitted? For instance, are we allowed to use Reshade to make it easier to see during in-game nighttime? I'm assuming no, but I'm not entirely sure if this counts as modifying the client.

There is something called gamma value which is easily adjusted (outside daoc)

4. Client Modifications
You may not modify any part of the Dark Age of Camelot client. This includes but is not limited to:
Any hardware or third-party software, altering movement speed of your character, revealing positions of enemy players (as Radar), Jump-Hacks, Client mods that change weather pattern, fog, terrain, or object positions.

Sounds to me like it is forbidden to use reshade.

reshade doesn't affect any of the things you mentionned.

No game altering 3rd party programs... we're splitting hairs at this point with everyone and their moms using AHK... Doesn't make sense that people are allowed to use AHK but reshade is a no no. lmao this is ass backwards.

Loads of players using reshade. Nothing wrong with it.

I DL this but thew Home button does not work. It just puts my toon in combat or tries to cast a spell depending on toon I am playing. Cant bring up the tutorial. Any ideas?

As long as reshade is used for the intended purpose, enhancing the visual quality, it's fine aka allowed.

Sounds like you need to rebind your home key to auto run in /keyboard

I did but still nothing. Ill try google. It also says for example on my necro while doing this, it says you must have pet to cast this. Now I have not summoned pet and the home button is set to auto run. The run icon does show up so I start running but no reshade options.

Oh and I cannot apply the home button to auto run as well. That is weird

Oh I didn't realize your shader was utilizing the home button, have you looked for a read me file in your shader? It seems it is binding you home key to a hotbar slot or macro of yours. Probably best to leave home key unbound.

It isnt bound to anything atm. In the /keyboard it isnt utilized at all but it makes me attack for some reason. I have the tild key for attack but the home button does the same thing lol. Where is the read me file? I didnt see one in the folder at all. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place?
