Best solo Character - Phoenix Freeshard

I am between the Vw and the Champ for my last spot. What is the more preferred? What has better Solo potential both in Rvr and Pve? I know the Champ is useable in Darkspire which is a plus is the VW?

Essentially i just want a pro's and con's list for both so i can get a little help deciding.

In my limited experience, VW is noticeably better at soloing PVE content.

The Champ isn't bad, but the VW is better in that regard.

The Champ is probably better at soloing RVR though.

I've only soloed both classes up to level 40ish or so though, so again, I have limited experience.

My friar has good close fights against solo VWs and loses to 98% of Champs.
Champs kinda destroy all melee in 1v1s.

Beware though, cos Assasins are tough here whatever class you pick.

VE is one of the funnest classes in the game.
And played right it’s very good.

Champ is good. Keep in mind though NS is good too and have the same debuffs champs get. WS/con debuff from envenom, dex/qui debuff from gala sword, haste debuff at 39 blades. Just adding a third option for you.

VW are really good too and you can pretend to be a caster to get stealthers to jump you. One thing is MoArcane ra no longer affects buff pots so VW took a little hit there. And you need to be good with postionals with vw, champ has slam/numb to pull off positionals easier

Ya i have a NS it just has been a pain to level him he is stuck at 38 because no one will group with at all. They leave you to fend for yourself then complain about getting ganked all day. I have my NS just got bored of leveling him due to the amount of solo time he has.

Yeah it's been harder getting groups in general. I have 44 NS I know the pain. Gotta farm those xp items which gets boring for sure. Sometimes if you're an NS you gotta build the groups yourself that helps a lot just start inviting people in lfg and gather an exp group just gotta know where you're going to exp.

Well even solo I found VW to be one of fastest leveling classes
Just get your pots

You are getting there!

Here's the thing, almost everyone goes through the same thing as an assassin... they are not wanted as much as other classes for groups... just is what it is.

I went solo 1-41. It wasn't too bad honestly but not as great as a group obviously.

I was in DF from like 20-30 killing necryomancers, plated fiends (drop xp items as well), and lilispawns... and then did kill tasks for xp items 30-41.

The key is using buff pots/endo pots/tinders... they help tremendously... i was taking down org con mobs with ease and also some reds. If you can buy these from the merch USE them.

Got super lucky at lvl 41 when I got an invite for a group... i rode that til the wheels fell off and got to lvl 48, this was last night. 48-50 I'm farming xp items and will be 50 here shortly.

Also hunt the mobs that drop xp items at the lower end of the range... if its 35-40 you want to hunt them at 35/36... then move on to next. This is doable if you have buff pots/endo/tinders.

I put mine on NY might be unnecessary but I found the one in Cali lagged for me

Maybe ill try to switch to NY instead of trying to play out of EU might make a huge difference considering where i am playing out of!

Look up xp loot for level. Farm 10 or 20, ding. Turn in token. Rinse, repeat.
