Hello, we are all frustrated with this situation I think it was created in rvr.
I wanted to propose an idea to try to change the situation in some way.
For example implement a task that concerns the keep. Or a task that more time concerns the recovery of a relic.
If you lose a keep on the frontier, start a task in that realm to regain the keep.
If you lose a relic, the 1 week / 1 month task starts to regain it
Now hibernia dominates.
Polemo returns next week and the situation may change but it will always remain albVsHib.
This could be a solution to encourage Midgard to avoid just flagging.

just remove all the tasks and let ppl do rp by actually doing rvr and not pve

Just brainstorming:

- Deactivate task when your realm owns df
- Gain high rp reward when bg is holding the relic and bringing back, reduced the longer it takes to bring it back.
- Breaking port brings more reward the more keeps you have lost
- taking a fort brings more reward if the realm attacked has more total# of keeps.
- killing the RvR realm boss gives 10% rp bonus for 30mins
- create new daily task: Take tower and hold them for 20minutes 0/1;0/2;0/3
- create new daily task: capture a central fort 0/1
- create new daily task: travel a total of 50 km in hibernia 0/1; midgard 0/1; albion 0/1; ellan vanin 0/1
- create new daily task: enter in df

For me the big issue with RvR is:
I don't care about the relics, I never knew what they are for, never saw the impact, I just want it for the titles, I am never aware of when we are taking them.
All my chars are 50, I don't care about DF for exp bonus
I don't think DF brings enough monetary reward for making it worth taking
When we are in inferior numbers, even if we tryhard, we cannot do anything, just higher number is enough to win 99% of the time.

I know that in some other MMORPGs: Warhammer for example, the less realmates around you, the more bonus to stats you get. Could be a thing, just not for stealthers?

Maybe we should promote more 8v8 or 16v16, or create a new area with forts, but WoW bg style (set amount of ppl maximum)

In my opinion RELICS should be improved, DF should be improved.

Relic should somehow powerup a ressource, the more you hold the higher the charge rate, once its fully charged you get access to an upgraded DF area, similar to Darkspire but for a BG. Maybe an upgraded Legion boss, with templatable items. Unlock of titles and feathers or looting pots. W/e

I love tasks, it creates alternatives to the bridges who would once again be overcrowded.
It should just not give that much rps to zergers.

The old tasks were more centered around keeps, but that had it's downsides, too. I agree it should have some kind of connection to the realm war, though, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I've made suggestions in the past that would keep the same tasks but make controlling a flag have an impact on keeps/towers, and the response was complete silence from other players.

I have similar feelings about how it diverts traffic to different places. Particularly during low pop hours, it's very nice for soloing. (During high pop, there are only certain flags I'd ever go to as a visible solo.)
